I have heard rumors before Spiderman came out that Nicholas Brendon may have had a chance to play Spiderman. Since they obviously had Toby Maguire be Spiderman...who do you think should have been Spiderman? Nicholas Brendon or Toby Maguire?

I say XANDER XANDER XANDER! Obviously! i wanted him to be the spiderman because he acts the attitude of spidermans character very well. For example he can be geeky, but also hot and charming at the same time! what do you guys think?
 
Of course Nicholas! Tobey is doing a good job as spider man, but I would have loved to see a friend from Sunnydale on the big screen. Nicholas would have done a great job as well!
 
Nicholas is too damn tall and good looking for Spidey. Spidey is a geek, a small one at that. Tobey is awesome. Nick should be Green Lantern though
 
For the roll I had to go with Toby...I think that Nick could have handled the scenes in the first half or the movie well but he kinda lacks the grace to do some of those action moves...but it would be cool to see...
 
i agree, his nice body could handle any stunts toby could....wow...i loved his body! i wish i were faith when she slept with him in the Zeppo lol JK! hes too old now!
 
oh man tobey is soooo hot!!!!!!!! i love him but tobey i think he fits the role as a nerd than nick
 
I'm not saying that Nick doesn't, or didn't have a nice bod...but he's still lacking in grace...I just keep seeing that part of OMWF when he and Anya just did the crazy dance and they were flinging their arms back and forth and he was just all over the place...no grace at all for the web flinging...lol 😛
 
I love Nick,he rocks,..but I had to go with Tobey,he makes a great Spidey

I think I like TM as Spidey. But how about a buddy action pic: Nic and Bruce Campbell? Or Nic and Lucy Lawless. Just a thought.

Xander (NB) is a big oafy dork. I luv him that way...he is *so* cute, but I don't think he could of done Spidey.

I actually didn't like Toby as Spidey though either. He was lithe and agile but he didn't quite cut it as Spidey for me.
