Hope this is an ok place for this. After some prodding in chat, I'm posting this thread. I guess my name's a tad too long for people to type out. 😉 So some started to call me 'meta' which I really don't like. I'm like 'am I being meta tested or something?' 😛 So are there any suggestions for a good nickname for me here?

Questions? Comments?

I thought of using HMS or HMDS, but it makes me sound like a battleship or something. 😉

Thats why the Hi seems friendly.. like Hi MDS.
HowiMetdaSlayer,
you chose the name, what did you expect? I'm unsure why Mr. Pole wrote HiMDS when the D is lower case HiMdS. Personally I cant be bothered with such a long username, but what are the alternatives?
WTF?

oi!
Misslongname
imetda or imelda

Well took me like an hour to think of an original name that wasn't already taken. I guess I could've been Bored Now85 or Willow981 or something. By that point a nickname wasn't even a part of the equation. 😵

But I like Meta! I guess Howi would be a good one! Although it makes me think of Howie Mendel and I doubt you're a bald middle aged guy 😛

How about Das? HowIdaslayer. Or something Willow related; Dani, Ell, Lee, Aly etc.

Or Nicky, short for nickname? Or Jane in honour of IRYJ?

I support the suggestion of Jeff!

Unfortunately, with nicknames, I think it's an easy association game and if it doesn't come immediately to people's minds when they're writing, it's going to get hard to get it to stick, or it's going to be tough to get rid of once you do get one like "meta" because it's something that jumps out to people for a reason.

Your current nick implies you're a fan of both, Willow Rosenberg and Lily Aldrin. How about mixing them? Willy or Lillow? Lily Rosenberg = Liro. Willow Aldrin = Aldow? I know, not very groundbreaking, but some combinations could sound nice and easy.😀
