if you take Mr. Pole's and your Jeff, then with my Imelda and join them together you get.. .. ..
I meld a Jeff, from that one might get Eldja. Many might say no, many might look the other way and grimace. One thing is for sure though, no one else would have a username/ nickname like that.

Why do some folk know it as a nickname, I don't.
Nickname was a reference to an old name, a name a child was known by, it then became known as a nickname.
Not because of this but to close for comfort as far as I am concerned as old nick is a nickname of the devil.

Now if you like stuff that is too close for comfort, a name for the devil has been uncle nic - St. Nic - St. Nicolas -father Christmas- santa or if you change the letters about you get Satan who is uncle nic
