i hate nina so much she was so annoying. also the thing i dont get is that angel had sex with her cos he did not love her he did not turn bad right? cos i asked my sis which she is also into buffy and angel and she said they did not they just fooled around if you get what i mean.

so do u like her or not

me is BIG NO!:fighting1

she never really bothered me much. she wasn't a major part in Angel's life, so we never saw enough of her for me to really form an opinion. maybe if the show had run longer, i would have been swayed one way or the other, but alas...

the only thing that REALLY annoyed me, was not Nina herself, but, like VG said, the fact that Angel forgot about Cordy so quickly. that just p****d me right off.

Angel did have sex with her but like Wes told him, what are the chances of him having that absolutlely perfect moment. Presumably he could only have that with Buffy cos shes the one he loves the most. Or something

why all this anti Nina? She would of been someone who would of bought some peace and maybe helped him heal a bit, that's what i got from his relationship with her and the writers would of explored that a bit, had there been a season six.
Angel maybe was diving into the relationship with her to shelter from his grief maybe?

I didn't mind her, it's just that the writers rushed it a bit, and yes they P**d all over the relationship with Cordy by not having him grieve or show it well.
It's the same with the others, shame on them!

hey i agree omg he should not have just forgoten about cordy hello he loves her well meant to. angel should do go with cordy never buffy.

do u think that he would have lost his soul if he had sex with cordy???

Didn't Angel loose his soul after he imagined that he had sex with Cordy?

Back to topic; I find Nina innocuous and redundant.

Thats not how I remember it. That seems totally ridiculous to me. How can just imagining something have that effect?

I dont remember the episode that well unfortunately but I do know that I never saw it that way when i have watched it.

well, i havent seen it in a while either, but im pretty sure that's what happened. hopefully, someone else will clarify it for us.

if you watch and listen to the scene REALLY closely, just after Angel rolls off of Cordy, you can hear him whisper 'Buffy' so take from that what you will.
i never noticed it until someone here mentioned it, and went immediatly to watch the ep, and i did hear it.
you can barely hear it, like the time DB accidentally says 'Sarah' in the ep 'I Will Remember You'

I noticed that but then I was surrended with Cangels and didn't find it safe to mention it as an only Bangel :D

Angel's trigger is perfect happiness. When a person is happy they have increased serotonin levels in their noggin, I think it's serotonin. Perfect happiness for angel would be a super serotonin boost, that's not difficult to fake.

Losing his soul was caused by a perfect day, not a blissful few mintues with Cordelia.

yeah, the whole day, if i remember correctly, involved Angel renewing his friendship with Wesley, creating a relationship with Connor when they killed the beast together, and became a real father and son, his night with Cordy, and i think there was something else involving the whole gang.

I really liked Nina, I thought she was a good character. I agree that it was a little too soon after Cordy, but I think if she had been brought in a little later, or at a different time she would have been liked more!

I also really like the actress that played her, she was cool. and very hot.

I have to say that I liked Nina in the sense that she had potential. She was a little ignored in season 5 BUT had they done season 6 and the rumours of her bigger involvement were true, I think it would have been cool...particularly if the Oz rumours was also true.

I have to admit that I did want more from her character, thats why I spiced her up and totally re-wrote her in OF.

I had the same issue with Cordy and to a lesser Buffy(TGIQ) BUT, I appeased my thoughts because of the Vision.

Just because Angel jumped into bed with Nina, doesn't mean he changed his mind on Cordy or Buffy. As a 2 Century old being, he knows that time means nothing in the long term, so he just did what he could to get that little bit of happiness from life.

Angel's relationship with Nina probably had more to do with his final acceptance that Buffy had "moved on," to quote Spike in "The Girl In Question," and at last accepted that, for the moment at least, he should do the same. Whether anyting lasting would've developed between Fang Boy and Dog Girl, we'll never know, unless the question is answered by Joss & Co sometime in the future.

In the meantime, I have no objection to him having a little pleasure, even the less than perfect kind. I just wish Spike had ben given the same opportunity, though not with someone as shallow as Harmony.

Except Final episode of Buffy definetly left the door open for him, and Girl in Question leaves no doubt neither of the vamps have any plans to move on anytime soon. I think he was just following Wesleys advice. Since he can never really care for Nina as much as Buffy, relationship was kind of doomed from the start
