Nintendo 3DS

To all my fellow BB-Gamers, is anyone else excited about the new Nintendo 3DS system being released early next year? The system is supposed to be dishing out 3D games without any special type of glasses, and loads of other features like taking 3D pictures and watching 3D movies!

I'm excited! 😀 Here is the weird announcement trailer that was released a few months ago, and I know there are a bunch of game-demo videos floating around online:

I've kinda lost my attachment to Nintendo ever since N64. It's never really been the same for me. Also I don't have as much time to play now. But, the 3DS does look interesting. I'm just hoping it's not just empty promises!

My daughter has a DSi and it's a nice little game system to have. Personally, I don't like 3D games on handheld devices; they give me a headache the same way 3D movies do in the theaters.

The only new feature is that the games are in 3D? That's not enough to make me interested. I'm just fine with my original, bulky DS as long as they continue to release games for it.

I feel ya Z, the last system/game I bought from Nintendo was the Gameboy Advance SP (I remember being super excited because it had a backlight! LMAO). This one really has me interested so I think I'm definitely going to buy, as long as it isn't too expensive! :banana:

Don't know the technical specs but from what I've seen in demo videos, the graphics have drastically improved. That is just from the original DS, since I'm jumping from the Advance SP then I would be seeing a major upgrade. Lol.

No, it's a completely different system.

Also to people who have issues with 3D there is a slider to adjust depth that I believe you can use to play the games in 2D. Also, the method they use to achieve the 3D effect is a little different than what you see in the movies so maybe it's worth trying. You never know.
