So I know there`s been a few thread asking who played video games and what not! So I was wondering for all those gamers out there, what is your favorite Nintendo game/franchise?

Mine is a classic, Zelda 😀 Favorite being ocarina of time and majora`s mask! Heck, I even got the triforce tattoed in my foot!

I can play Perfect Dark all day, every day, on the N64. I will treasure that game for the rest of my life, it's beyond good. It took the throne away from Golden Eye 007 as the best first shooter/spy/thriller game ever created. I will always love that game. And the graphics hold up even to this day. Zelda is also a great franchise. A Link To The Past was the first game of Zelda's I ever played, and it was a classic. But Perfect Dark, all the way. 😀

Well I'm going to have to agree with Living Dead Boy here!! Perfect Dark for the N64 was AWESOME!!! Oh man did we ever play that game non stop, I was quite disappointed with the new perfect dark they made for x-box though 🙁

Legend of Zelda is my favourite game franchise. I also like Mario Bros. games, Super Smash Bros., LEGO games, and Pokemon. 🙂

I love Nintendo!

Especially SNES. That, to this day, is my favorite system. Secret of Mana is easily one of my favorite video games of all time. Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country as well were just awesome.

I actually just bought a SNES about a month ago, can't wait to discover all the awesome games it has to offer, for no I've been playing a lot of DK country, what an awesome game (and the graphics were so nice!!).

N64 will always be my favorite console thought! Another game I love was Space Station Silicon Valley, I don't understand why they didn't make a sequel, that game was sick!

My brother still has his old SNES. Donkey Kong Country is awesome. So is Super Mario Allstars.

I bought a Gamecube last year because my Wii doesn't have GC controller ports. I do miss our N64, though. I loved Pokemon Stadium and Pokemon Snap. 😀

Metal Storm for the NES its the reason I bought a NES for myself my very first major perchace
Defacto my fav game of all time

The rest of my top ten list is more normal
Metal Storm NES
Perfect Dark N64
Legend of Zelda NES
Super Metriod SNES
Ace Combat 4 PS2
Mario 64 N64
Transformers(Armada) PS2
GTA Vice City PS2
Jumping Flash PS1

I love my N64 so much! The games last so long and so do the consoles- so much longer than the newer ones like play station and Xbox.
I loved (and still do) playing Mario Party (the original), super Mario, Mario kart, diddy kong racing, yoshi story, Pokemon stadium, Pokemon snap and Donkey Kong.
So many memories. Just sucks the games are so expensive; $65 for Mario party on eBay; I desperately needed to own it again though haha.

I still pllay Diddy Kong Racing, only its on my DS
My undisputed favorite is definitely Donkey Kong 64. I also love Ocarina of Time, and F-Zero X is also really awesome.
I don't have many N64 games, but to this day, these three games are still unmatched.

You are officially in my "COOL" book! 😉

I've always been a huge Nintendo fan and the Zelda series is easily my favourite too.

Nintendo seem to understand video games in a way that few other publishers/manufacturers do - that it's not just about flashy graphics and power. It's about making the player feel like one with the controller and, in turn, making your on-screen character feel like an extension of yourself.

There's too many times I've played amazing-looking games on XBOX and PlayStation, only to have the experience ruined by unresponsivness and a frustrating control system.

Nintendo have constantly re-defined the public's expectations of video games with each console generation, and I'm looking forward to playing the HD remake of Zelda: Wind Waker on Wi-U later this year. Yush.

Well thank you! And I agree with the rest of your post!

And this is exactly why I love Nintendo!! The one thing I dislike thought is that other Publishers don't like making games for the Nintendo consoles so I always end up buying the consoles for the Nintedo franchises, which is still way more then worth it!! But I wish there was also more Ubisof, Capcom, etc. games for those consoles like there use to be! But as for Nintendo made games, they absolutely cannot be beaten!!

On a side note, how is the Wii U? I haven't had the change to play it yet.

I loved games like Banjo Kazooie, all the Mario Parties(just because it's fun to play with people at sleepovers or parties), Zelda Ocarina of time, and Zelda Majora's Mask. As you can see I love my Nintendo 64 games a lot! 😀

Banjo Kazooie karma! :)

Gotta agree with this. Perfect Dark was my favorite N64 game. Lots of good memories of 4 player split screen on a 19" TV haha. 😀 I also played Zelda pretty heavily.

But after those, I got hooked on Sony systems. So while I loved my N64 that's pretty much as far as my Nintendo love went. I can't stand the Wii.

To be honest, I haven't bought a Wii-U yet. The launch line-up seemed to be little more than tech demos and decent software is still a little thin on the ground.

They've even admitted that the HD Zelda:Wind Waker remake is just a stop-gap to keep fans happy until the proper Wii-U Zelda is complete - Imma sure Nintendo will make full use of the touch pad to add a new flavour to the gameplay and hopefully throw in a new dungeon or two!
