For all of those who are hoping that Alexis Denisof will be considered as the next Bond . . . don't hold your breath.

Rumor is that Julian McMahon (NIP/TUCK, CHARMED, and PROFILER) is seriously being considered as the next 007.

Everyones being rumoured as being considered so I dont really take any notice until one has been signed, then I dont really care after that either.

hmm...Never heard the rumours of him being considered as the next bond...it could be kool though...it would have made me actually watch a bond movie for once...

Well Eric did say he will not be playing Bond. However there have been numerous rumuors floating around about who the next Bond will be.

I don't think anyone can replace Brosnan (Then, I didn'y think that anyone would be as good as Connery, so what do i know?)

Alexis Denisof was being considered for the new bond? heh. okey doke never heard that one. There's a new rumor every week about who will be the new Bond none of them very reliable.

P.S. I heard Lenny Kravitz is going to be the new Bond.

Anyone could replace Brosnan.

As much as I adored Brosnan in the role of Remington Steele and a few other roles, I never did like his portrayal of James Bond. Instead of creating his own style, he seemed bent upon copying everyone else who had donned the 007 role - Connery, Moore, Dalton and even Lazenby.

As for who was the best Bond - there was "no" best in my eyes. I've enjoyed all of them (except for Brosnan).

I disagree. All the other Bonds went for one specific angle, Suave Bond, or Butch Bond. I never, ever bought Sean Connery as an action star. Brosnan on the other hand, looked equally comfortable in fatigues as in a tux. Plus, Goldeneye is the best Bond yet.

I havn't watched many Bond films, not enough to pick a best but I like Brosnan. I suppose its going to be the case you like the one you grow up with. Goldeneye was the first bond film I had seen, and a game I loved.
