No Buffy Guests on Angel This Season

Andrew will be coming! I can't wait to see him, too! He he... I'd love to see his "fascinating" insight on the world of Angel
. Guess that means no more Alyson Hannigan... 🙁

andrew is returning YAY
But is he included as a cast member??? He's just a recurring character.....I think it means people like Willow, Xander, Buffy, Giles, the one's in the opening credits. But it does mean no Alyson Hannigan........I was really hoping she at least would make an appearance. I heard she really wanted too, especially because it would mean working with her husband.
 
Maybe it means no more guest, after Andrew, Alyson and of course James (count him as guest for now). Because in the article posted https://www.buffy-boards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=9781 (beware, minor spoilers) it seems to be that Aly'll be coming back.
 
Thats ok. I didn't want Angel to be bunndled with ex-Buffy people this season. Spike and Andrew and more than enough for me. Although I am surprised Alyson isn't coming back.

Angel is its own show and while I would love to see some more Buffy characters guest starring, it just doesn't feel right for Angel...
 
Everyone is treating this as if it's a spoiler. Que? Again, I thought spoilers had more to do with story than with casting. I mean, it's pretty easy to find out who's appearing in what... What's the deal?
 
Alyson Hannigan should appear to boost Angel's ratings even more, she is class!!!
