maybe this no magic things going to take away the magic that made the key into Dawn i think maybe this happens the key becomes what it was in the first place anyone agree
 
I'm not sure if getting rid of all magic reverses all magic ever done. Because the key was magic and Dawn was made with magic but I don't think she is magic now. I think she is just human. But if Twilight reverses all the magic ever done, then I think she will disappear.
 
i think dawn being gone is a good reason why twilight could be a future version of xander ie being called twilight etc
 
I hope it won't happen. It would be sad. Not because she will disappear. But because everyone won't even remember anything about her. 🙁

Are you kidding? If, suddenly, Dawn was gone and nobody ever spoke of her again, it would probably be the greatest thing to happen to the Buffyverse ever.

Also, I don't know how to quote two people, so this is in response to Laina. Unless there was some ritual done to change Dawn into a human (which, as far as we know, never happened) then we have no reason whatsoever to believe that Dawn is human. Being around for three seasons doesn't just take away somebody's magickness. And even though Dawn says, "I was a key." in the most recent issue, it doesn't mean that since she isn't a key anymore she's suddenly a real human. The only reason she isn't a key anymore is because the time for the ritual in which she would act as a key is passed, and nothing more. While Dawn may look, smell, act, and do everything else that a human would do, she is still just a ball of energy, imposed on a body constructed by monks through magick.

I always assumed that before dawn was made human, she had been other things before, to stop glory finding the key. Just because she is human now shouldn't stop her being turned into other things if the monks wanted. Also didn't Willow threaten to turn her back into a ball of green energy?? So she must still be the key inside somewhere .

Hopefully Twilight could erase her . I wonder if he can wipe her out of my head too????
 
Dawn sucks, and if she dies my friends and I are having a Dawn's dead party.

She's not pointless, whether you like her or not. She's the reason season five is what it is. And she shouldn't have died at the end of season five, Buffy should have, that was the whole point.

Thanks for defending Dawn!
She acts like normal little sis. She's the only family Buffy has. Even she's pointless or not, she doesn't deserve to be killed off.

I much prefer the ending of season 5 where dawn is bleed to death slowly and then buffy jumps to save the world

Then you have issues! 😛 lol Not only would you like to see a fifteen year old girl brutally murdered, but you'd like Buffy to then throw herself face first into the ground for no reason?

Anyway I'm off-topic, and as I don't read the comments I'm gonna clear off! 😉

And I think that's a really poor argument as to why she's pointless or whatever. For her to 'be a fraud' Dawn would of needed to be fully aware, all along, that she was a key and be the one pretending she was a human being. Dawn, was in fact one of the only ones who wasn't doing this. Out of everyone, Dawn was the one NOT being fraudulent.

By all means dislike her, but so far I haven't ANY good reasons for wanting her to die and throw parties over it. All you ever get she's annoying, she's a brat, she's whiny, which are all superficial reasons as to why she might be hard to like but they do nothing to persuade me she's pointless.

I hope that she does manage to survive if Twilight succeeds in removing all magic. I hope she lives and kicks his ass and shows just how much of a point there is to her character 😉

That's ridiculous. Her cry for help, which is actually what she's doing with the klepotmania, has nothing to do with her wanting to throw Buffy's sacrifice in her face.

Do you not think that if you'd found out your whole life had been a lie and it resulted in not only your sister's death, but also her horrible resurrection, you might have some angst that you're struggling to channel? Loads of teenagers go through the stealing phase.

And her stealing a few things, still doesn't warrant her dying. Even if she did manage to steal enough stuff to warrant The Magic Box going bankrupt, which would never have happened!

Dawn is not by any means my favourite character but she is very much an example of what every teenager goes through, so I can understand why she behaves the way she does.
