No Ordinary Family premieres tonight

I know I'm stoked! I think its gonna be a winner *fingers crossed* and i don't watch Glee so no issue there for me, not that it matters right now anyway since i'm currently cable-less & will have to watch bu other means.
 
I like the sound of this. I fear it won't do well against the Glee juggernaut but I shall give it a go.

I have to watch this online I have no more room to record this Tuesday night 8pm slot is full of like every show I like, NCIS, One Tree Hill, Glee (I'm not missing the britney ep)

I think its sucks its up against Glee I hope it doesnt hurt the show.
 
I'll be watching both online tomorrow since i have to work, and no DVR, although I should really get one lol. But agreed: Glee will crush No Ordinary Family
 
Since I have no tv, I'll just have to wait until tomorrow to watch it on Hulu... Unless they add it super early in the morning, because then I might just stay up waiting... I mean, I ended up watching Community at 4 AM that way last Friday! Same for Glee! 😀
 
I thought it was good but not great. The potential is certainly there though. I'm loving the cast and Julie is great and looks amazing. Would it be wrong to have her running in slow motion all the time....probably.😀
I do wish they had held out on showing the son's power for a few episodes, would have been interesting to watch him cope with being the "normal" one. Not quite sure about their origin and them running into another super powered bad guy so soon. I do like the choice of powers though, even though I'm not sure what the JJ's is....super smart. That's a bit meh! Depending on the situation can't Daphne just read smart people's minds.
I also really like Stephanie's research assistant and kinda want her Kitty Pryde action figure 😀. It shows a lot of promise though, I just hope it goes dark every now and then and just doesn't stay a nice family drama. I'll keep watching though.
 
I really liked it, it's one of the first new shows I've watched this season, and im looking forward to more!

It did pretty well in the ratings, 10million people (Glee got 13 million), so I wouldn't say it was crushed!

Lol. Maybe you could bet Pacey Witter if he was yours to wager, but remember, he's MINE! 😉 And Glee, yeah I know, most people are shocked that I don't watch it. I started to watch it, I was actually stoked about it before it premiered. I watched & hung around for about 6 episodes and I gave it up (and I NEVER do that, once I start a show I feel obligated to finish it) It just didn't do it for me as a TV show. TV for me has to first & foremost be about the characters, I like character driven shows and Glee, from what I saw, was like 4-5 musical numbers crammed into 45 minutes of TV and that for my taste left little time to develop characters and drive storyline. Cause, i don't know, its not like musical numbers that narrate plot, it was just musical numbers. Anyway, who knows, maybe I should give it another shot.

But I think in a bit here I am gonna give No Ordinary Family a gander!

Yeah, that pretty much is Glee. I enjoy the music but mostly I adore the one liners from Sue and Brittany. Pure joy!

I watched No Ordinary Family yesterday. Definitely enjoyable and I'll continue to watch but, I don't know. I'm not doing backflips about it yet.

Has anyone watched Undercovers? (Air, you would LOVE this one).

I didn't know about it until the day after it premiered, but thanks to the good ol' internet, got to watch it anyhow. It reminded me slightly of a live action version of "The Incredibles." And giving the father, who played the Thing in the two Fantastic Four movies was interesting. The running in slow motion to simulate super speed effect reminded me of Jamie Summers. As for the two kids' powers, I can't see how either of them are going to be of a tremendous help in fighting the bad guys. The daughter could, of course, help with the interrogation once they are caught, and the son will almost certainly control and operate the "lair." I wonder if they'll be wearing masks and some sort of combat uniform (something more durable than normal street clothes, not spandex and capes. I'm surprised that, with all the falling off of buildings and moving that fast thet eheir regular clothing didn't get dirty, much less torn) and have a special "No-Ordinary-Mobile" to get to and from the crime scenes without attracting attention.

Ooh, I did! I saw the premiere, and really liked it. I love the idea of a married couple doing spy work. And they're both easy on the eyes, so there's that. Very Hart to Hart, which I also liked way back in the day, but edgier. 🙂

Then I would recommend "Undercover Blues" with Dennis Quaid and Katherin Turner. I's not new, but it's hilarious.

I thought it was more Mr. & Mrs. Smith but I agree they are very easy on the eye. I love their banter, it's really fun show.
 
Watched it, it was okay. Didn't knock my socks off but it wasn't horrible, either. Definitely going to give it a chance. For me, Autumn Reeser's character was the coolest of the bunch xD There was one thing that annoyed me though and that was Julie's superspeed. She ... runs, what was it? One mile in six seconds and her clothes don't get torn? Puh-lease. I get that it's a family show but a little technobabble-y explanation like "the clothes they were wearing were affected by the water, too", would have sufficed. Problem solved.
