No She Didn't

I was just watching School Hard and Spike says "the last Slayer I fought begged for her life" If you remember from the season 5 episode, they showed the two slayers he killed. The Chinese one only said "tell my mother I'm sorry" and Nikki didn't say anything. So, what Slayer begged for her life? I remember reading something that Spike really killed 3 Slayers, but then it turned out to be a potential slayer.

Just bravado on Spike's part I feel. Although in the book "Pretty Maids All in a Row" he does kill another Slayer but I don't think the books are canonical...

The writers have a tendency to forget lines that have been said. Douglas Petrie wrote "Fool for Love" and he didn't write for the show 'til S3, so he has to have had payed real close to Spike's line in "School Hard" to include that in the ep. Maybe he might've forgotten or maybe no one told him about "School Hard..."

I figure the writers hadn't thought that far yet...I mean he wasn't meant to last past several episodes...they didn't have a real plan for is past yet...

Im not sure that Spike was really scary so mabye he was just trying to scare Buffy to make up for the lack of scariness. hehe

Well, didn't the chinese Slayer in the Boxer Rebellion say something in chinese? Maybe that was uh... "No don't kill me." then she said "Tell my mother I'm sorry."

yes that was the Chinese Slayer but I dont think she said please dont kill me, she came before Nikki and Spike was probably just making big talk, since people like to do that, even vampires.

I wouldnt remember something that was one line in one episode 2 long years ago, i think that was a fault. But then again, spike boasts a hell of a lot so you never know!

he is a guy...he's an undead american guy, but dead or alive we make no sence...He was prob tryin to make himself sound strong and scare the pants off buffy..(not literaly)
