Spike/Buffy
I'm the kind of shipper where - as long as Spike/Buffy are together, I kind of don't care who the others pair up with.
Most of my fandom interaction is through fic, so that's what I'm talking about here, lol.
But yeah, the 'secondary' (to the ship I'm interested in reading about) have never really mattered to me.
That said, I've enjoyed reading Giles/Anya as a secondary ship (I don't think this could be considered canon based on one kiss, right?). Um, I've read some Faith/Buffy fic and though I'm not really into slash or femmeslash, the author made it work.
But the non-canon ship I enjoyed the most is Spike/Tara. Which might be surprising considering I'm a Spuffy shipper, but the few Spara fics I've read made it work surprisingly well.

Yeah, Spangel was a more or less made canon in Power Play. 🙂 Spike said (about being intimate with Angel) "Except that one time...". 😀
Well, I am a big fan of Frillow. Those two girls were too cute together for words. 😀
I 'ship Lilah, Cordelia, and Spike with EVERYONE (Excluding Connor and Dawn- Except when it comes to Spike. 😉 ).

As first suggested by WA, Dark Willow and Doppelganger Willow would be a good match...

The strangest one i heard was Buffy/Dawn which on reflection is a bit strange but i suppose they aren't really sisters. Someone put a link up before to an explicit scene between the two characters but i can't find it on here at the moment.
I think along with Buffy/Giles, Buffy/Dawn is the weirdest combination i think someone could come up with :biggrin3:

I have to say, I've seen quite a few pairings I never would have thought of over on Adultfanficton.net. LOL I wrote a oneshot over there pairing Giles and Anya, based off the kiss in Tabula Rasa. And now I'm writing a Dawn/Faith one that I think is pretty good so far. LOL
My favorite non-canon ships are Buffy/Xander, Dawn/Xander, Wesley/Cordelia (I don't consider them canon because they only kissed that one time and never really had a relationship other than flirtation), and Faith/Angel and Spike/Illyria. Even though I LOVE Bangel and Spuffy. 😉
And yes, I too, think Frillow would be damn cute. 😀

Should be easy since Andy pretty much said Lorne was bisexual 😛
Honestly, out of the cast, I could only see Lorne going for Fred. By Season 5/AtF, Lorne harbored animosity towards all of Angel Inc. because they'd all screwed him over by then (beat him up, tried to kill him, and certainly betrayals) even though he was always just a happy peacemaker.
Fred & Cordy were dead, and there was some bad blood with Wes, Gunn, Connor, and Angel. Lorne never seemed super close with Spike. He seemed to like Groo a lot, kind of seeing him as the ideal Pylean that he could never be, but there was nothing more than friendship there.
As of 2010, after Lorne returns, the only wild 'ship I could think of for him would be Lorne/Faith, but even that's a huge stretch.

I can't picture Lorne with anyone on the Angel cast... I always thought it was sad/weird that he never got a love interest, though. :(

I honestly never think about non-canon ships and not just in the Jossverse but in any shows that I watch. I don't know why. The closest I get is believing there to be more friendship between people than is portrayed on screen like Buffy/Oz but I really have interest in 'shipping other people together, which is strange considering how many people do.
