Just been rewatching Angel season 2 and realized how great a character Lorne is. Love the scene where Angel is chatting to him about singing and how he has been working on it in the shower. I realize this had nothing to do with ships but just wanted to agree with people loving Lorne :biggrin3:

The more I've thought about it over the years since the show stopped, I actually think Giles and Anya would have been a really really funny pairing. Maybe a little weird at first, since he's a lot older than her, but their banter has always been entertaining, and it would have been nice to see Giles get a love interest after Jenny was killed off (no, I don't count Olivia since she was only in, like, 3 eps or something).

Tara/Anya could've been a possibility. They were together a few times in season five, watching Dawn. Willow also left Tara in Anya's care for a bit when she went to retrieve Buffy from her own mind.
Then, you know, Anya/Willow and Anya/Giles (I just like pairing Anya with everyone, for some reason).

How about Willow and Amy? They could've used each other as distractions from the immediate pain of, well, Tara leaving and Amy losing three years of her life to rattiness.

Plus, the real life age difference between Tony & Emma (Giles/Anya) is only one year more than between James & Mercedes (Spike/Harmony).

I'm a big time spangel, even though it is slightly canon... I would have liked to have seen an entire season of spangel together though. Aside from that I would probably say spander. I think there was definitely some potential there.

Also a frillow coupling instead of killow in Season 7 would have been awesomely awesome.

Tara's still around; we lose Willow instead. I know, uber sadness, but Oz comes back for the funeral, and he and Tara find good comfort in each other. They are both so endearing and genuine. Now the thing once dividing them unites them.
First time I ever thought about this, but... It could work, and I want it.

I know they had a father/daughter relationship on Buffy and nothing more but you know, they'd make a cute couple, bit of an age difference but if there's love..

I love how Giles cares for Buffy... It could sorta work in that regard, but only if there were some terrible awful almost apocalypse-- wait, I guess it might just then. 😛
