I love this promo so much and i thought a lot of you might enjoy it as well so I thought I'd share it. It's the "Night is Young" WB promo from 2000 that features actors from all of the WB shows at the time, all kinda partying together. Its set to the song "Oh What a Night" It is SO fun, everytime I watch it it just makes me want to be right in the middle of all of it dancing with them. It brings me this 'when fandoms collide' type giddyness I can't really explain, and i love to share things I love so... While watchching it, notice how Nick Brendon and David Boreanaz are the only ones from Buffy and Angel actually in the midst of the party, they try to act like SMG is there but its actually footage from "Who Are You" of, not even Buffy, but Faith as Buffy of all things, kind of ironic. What do you guys think of the rest of either cast not being involved? I mean there are several people from all the other shows, it just seems odd. Were they just busy or what? I just always wish we got a chance to see SMG involved in stuff like this for Buffy, she hardly ever even showed up in bloopers. Anyway, enjoy! Wow, you're right! I am feeling nostalgic for the '90s and early 2000s now, even though I didn't really watch The WB back then (yes, in case you didn't know, I'm a fairly recent Buffy recruit.)

Also, I've always wondered if they're actually having fun in ads like that. I'm not stupid, and I know it's probably just a director yelling, "LOOK LIKE YOU'RE HAVING FUN, DAMNIT!", but I like to believe that they're all actually best pals having a dance party.
 
There's absolutely nothing wrong with being a new Buffy recruit I hope new Buffy recruits keep on coming out of the woodwork for eternity. 🙂

Well I don't know about them all being best pals, but I'd like to believe that they're all actually having fun and I can't imagine it was a very structured shoot, it just seems more like the type of thing where they set them loose and tell them to have fun. Man cause if they we just acting they sure as hell did an awesome job.

Secondly: Was that supposed to look like Angel was going to sink his fangs into that girl?
Thirdly: It would be nice if I actually knew any of them outside of the Buffyverse...
Fourthly: That hat. Seriously.

But it was still pretty awesome!
 
Wow that was great! I just would like to see Cordelia in it too... But yeah very nice vid, it's weird to see Angel (David) hanging around with Prue (Shannen). Oh and seeing Melisa J Hart from Sabrina, the Teenage Witch is also cool 🙂! The only thing that annoys me on the vid is the appearance of Katie Holmes, don't know why, she annoys me most of the time xD. But for the rest: wooow, very nice.

That girl? Seriously dad, have you been living under a rock or something? That's Shannen Doherty, Brenda from 90210 and Prue from Charmed... you really don't know who she is?!

It's okay i guess I'll still let you buy me that car for Christmas, who else but a daughter to look beyond not knowing pop culture royalty

That was awesome. Although I must agreen David B. and Shannon were being really creepy. Also Alyssa Milano and Jason Behr were being pretty creepy as well. It was fun though. :lmao:
 
my god i remember those, there was a similar one the next year as well (or the year before that) I used to download anything WB related, one of them has the cutest bit where Katie Holmes runs into Barry Watsons arms like across the party, it's so cute cause it must have been after Teaching Mrs Tingle...wait the ad, I loved the concept of having everyone all together, it's fun! and those ads randomly turned me onto watching Popular, cause I always wondered who Shiri Appleby (Liz, Roswell) was in the convertable with 😀

thanks for posting and taking me down memory lane... I really miss the heyday of the WB *hugs the lame-o froggy*
 
Pretty cool did anyone notice Sarah was wearing the same outift from "Who Are You?"
And didn't anyone else think that the blonde girl with curls at first looked like Emma?
 
I didn't think Shannen and David were creepy nor were Alyssa and her guy. These were fun times on THE WB! If the CW would do stuff like this they would be a better network. Out of the two that merged WB was the best IMO. The only really good thing UPN had was Buffy. They all look like they are having fun. I know Shannen and Sarah are friends and I would say Alyssa knows about everyone in the industry since she has been in it since she was 6! It made me smile to watch this. THANKS!

I also loved HOLLY MARIE COMBS ligthing the candle. Too bad she wasn't featured a lot. Seriously don't get me started at how talented Holly is and she was pushed to the side cause she wasn't consider as "SEXY" as the other Charmed girls. COOL to see Kerr Smith and Ivan Sergei as they have Charmed connections. I hope to make a good Charmed board like this one day.

Sorry for going off topic and talking Charmed so much in a Buffy board.

Ok, the Charmed bit I probably should have known, but 90210? You kidding me? I'm an 18 y o guy from Scotland! When would I ever have seen that?!?!? Plus, we never got the WB over here, so there. Excuses over. *goes back under rock*

Yeah, yeah, okay now that I think abou it I guess you get a pass on the 90210 reference on account that you were a teeny 1 year old when it premiered.... *feels very very old*

Never watched your´s WB, but I´d used to follow Charmed, so every new promo I´d get on net, I´d watch!
This one, never saw *___*

Totally nostalgic, life was better back then 🙁 Nothing like having 14 y o xD
