I found it a bit disappointing for a very last episode, but I liked it anyway.

I was so sad that Wesley died!
But the moment after that was incredibly awesome. Maybe one of my favorite moment ever. Made me think of the "I want you to get out of my face" of Chosen. I'm talking about that moment Illyria arrives and turns into Fred to say goodbye to Wes. When the wizard says "Come on girl, give me your best shot". THAT moment was purely waw. Fred turning slowly with a I-'m-going-to-destroy-you-you-evil-bastard face, slowly punching while turning into Illyria and exploding the wizard's face. I watch it over and over again.
Too bad there is no avatar of it!

I didn't understand how Angel knew that someone will betray him.

I hated Lindsay's murder. Not that I liked him, if he had to die to save Lilah for example, I would help the killer because Lilah was much better but I'm losing my point here. I didn't like that Angel asked for his help and then asked to kill him. It would have been less worse if he had kill Lindsay without asking for his help. Poor Lindsay! His last words show his obssession for Angel! "No...Angel kill me not you...a...Angel".

Loved the Gunn scene, the guy was on fire! (But I eewed when he throw that thing in the women's skull *forgot the name*)

I wished we had seen more of the Spike fight.

I loved Connor in it. "C'mon, you spent your afternoon drinking coffee with me and the world is not ending?". I also love that he aknowledged that he knew Angel was his father and he knew what he did and he was very grateful.

"I kinda wanna fight the Dragon" and "I wish to do more violence" were some of the best lines in that episode

Lindsey sits on the fence of whats right and wrong and he tends to lean to the team with the most power (usually Wolfram & Hart) thats why Angel cant trust him

It was sad that Angel made Lorne kill Lindsey, Lorne's not a fighter (as he said in that episode)

Loved this episode and the way the season climaxed around the power corrupts theme. Great stuff. Lots of "Go Team!" and still plenty of intrigue to be teased out in rewatches.

Lots of good lines.
"Do not die. You are not displeasing to my eyes."
"Can you tell me the one word you shouldn't have said there?"

Very slick how the narrative plays out, six minutes passes, Hamilton walks in and they are at each others throats again.

I just posted in the thread about Lindsey's death so i'll just say that much as i liked what his character brought to the show he a) deserved it and b) it was good tactics.

Angel knew that someone would betray him because it was his (angel's) idea/plan, and he thought Wesley was the man for the job. Unless you were referring to Harmony in which case it was because he wasn't stupid and set her up 😀

OH! Spike's day off in the bar! That was a cool plot twist ROTFLMAO 🙂

OOps!! Nearly forgot.

Illyria: I will fight. I've been broken and humiliated. I will return in kind every blow, every sting. I will shred my adversaries. Pull their eyes out just enough to turn them towards their mewing, mutilated faces.

This episode is really amazing, but one thing that bothers me is that how did Spike know where the Hyperion was...?

I absolutely love this finale. I loved Chosen too, but they are so different, & the way NFA ended was very fitting.

I find all the Biblical references interesting, although fitting I guess, it is an apocalypse: someone will betray Angel, Spike wants to deny him 3 times (LOL), Eve getting kicked out of the garden, Hamilton's "We are legion". And added to that is Wes' line from Origin where he asks Angel about his "30 pieces of silver" referring to his belief that Angel sold out Fred.

The final Fresley scene had me in tears.

I thought Angel's final comment to Connor (Connor: "They'll destroy you." Angel: "As long as you're okay, they can't. Go.") is similar to Buffy's thoughts about Dawn. In fact, didn't she say something to that effect in the last few eps? Somebody help me out here. 🙂
