Ok this is basically the same as the classic movies thread.. except this time it is the opposite.. so this is where you write films that you think were really bad :silly: here we go:

I have a pretty high tolerance for just about any movie. You can at least mock them, if you're among friends. Some bore the hell out of me, some make me mad cos they seem like a spectacular waste of money (mine and the studio's) Or just a wasted opportunity...

Battlefield Earth (just by its rep)
Ishtar
1941
Titanic
The Rock, Armageddon (pretty much any Michael Bay film)
Cocktail
Tomb Raider films
Fantastic Four
Star Wars, eps 1, 2
Eyes Wide Shut
Prêt-à -Porter

ANY movie put out by Uwe Boll (these include "House Of The Dead", "Alone In The Dark", and "Bloodrayne").

"Staying Alive" (the sequel to "Saturday Night fever".)

and who could forget the debacle that was "Grease 2".

Alone In the Dark.. such a bad film!
OK, i'm gonna defend some of these movies, simply because they arent that bad.

Battlefield Earth (just by its rep)
I like dit. Its never gonna be a great film, even if Scientologists take over the world, but trust me, if you sit down with the knowledge that this is the film with the worst rated critisism, it does kinda give it reflected charm, allowing you to enjoy IF nothing Else, John Travolta in that freaky deaky hair do.

The Rock, Armageddon (pretty much any Michael Bay film)
Ahhh, these films never ever gonna be considered a brain puzzler, but if you want a movie thats just you sat watching the TV, a possible beer, nothing on your mind thus almost veg-state, forgetting all the plot holes, and ready for some big explosions, they tick all the boxes.

Tomb Raider films
The second one sucked ass on a GLOBAL scale, yet the first was ok. Anf lets be honest, you don't need to hear this movie, just watch😉

Grease 2
Hate me if you will, but i saw that before Grease so i didnt, still don't, mind it.

Now films i disliked.
BROKEBACK "BAS-TURD" MOUNTAIN
Titanic
Brokeback Mountain
Troy
Brokeback Mountain
Gladiator
Brokeback Mountain
Date Movie
and have i said Brokeback Mountain yet?

Awwww, what's the matter? Did it make you feel things you thought were long buried?
There should be a special category for shows which won the academy award, but you thought blew like foul wind out a donkey's butt.

I'd join those who nominated Gladiator and add...

The English Patient
Out of Africa

One that got bad reviews, but I saw it recently, and liked it was League of Extraordinary Gentlmen.

Bad, but watchable - Tank Girl.

I loved LXG! Couldn't understand why everyone hated it so much. Then again, I'm secretly in love with Peta Wilson, too. That could explain it!
The Rock, Armageddon (pretty much any Michael Bay film)

I love action movies, that's why Bay annoys me so much. Very badly photographed action. All super close-up shakey camera BS. Horrible car chases! I wanna see the chase fer chrissakes!!

He's improved on that score. The Island's action scenes were pretty good I thought. And I don't mind mindless action. Roland Emmerich films I can watch again and again, though they're idiotic.

Actually it has nothing to do with the content, it was just a crap film, i have no questions regarding my sexuality.....ohh and this post i disagree with
An American Haunting. One word. Terrible. This was the worst movie I have ever seen and I have seen a number of bad movies *cough*Grease 2*cough* Whatever you do, do not see this movie. Not scary, and pointless plot. UGH!

Ok how many people can mention Titanic? Get over it....

- boogyman

Aww I may be the only person who loves Dead Poets Society then. Oh well.

I spend probably way too much time watching films, and most even if they are crap amuse me because I rip them apart. But here are a few films that I wish I could take the time back from.

Good Night and Good Luck(or whatever it's called. that crap black and white thing with George Clooney). That film seriously was one of the most boring pieces of footage I have ever seen. Ugh.

Les Parapluies de Cherbourg. I had the pleasure of having to study this pile of poo in University. Not only a really bad musicial but a french musical, my frencd isn't really that great and with no actual songs and the characters just singing mundane things like 'Hello, guy' and 'I'm okay' it really began to grate on me. Plus the story was weak, set in an umbrella shop no less.

Envy - Film with Ben Stiller and Jack Black. I'm a Jack Black fan so I gave this a shot. But oh Lord was it bad.

The Chronicles of Riddick - I hadn't seen Pitch Black and after watching the second one, I didn't really care to watch it.

What happened to good TV?
Envy was pretty horrific. Something about poo if I remember correctly...what were they thinking
Ohhh my Lordy-Lou, Envy.
I love Jack Black, I love Ben Stiller, I LOVE Christopher Walken, but my gosh did this film suck.

Actually, i have one thing to say about it positively, Christopher Walken was actually really good. I thought his performance was possibly up there as a career highlight, just a complete shame the movie was 'crapola'

What happened to good TV?
Walken is awesome! 2 words:Pulp Fiction. Hilarious! I think that was the highlight of his carreer. The watch!!! 'I hid this uncomfortable piece of metal up my ass for two years.'
