Okay yes, it's the New York Post, the media organization that GLAAD has been working to educate since literally day one. But I really thought even they would be above this.

Maybe we should do away with all those gender-biased relationship terms and always refer to our SO as "partners." It would simplify things like this so much. (That was at least half sarcasm, but not entirely.)

Also, the baby isn't adopted, or at least, not adopted by both of them. One of them, either David or Elton, is the boy's biological father, they just don't want to reveal which of them it is, choosing instead to say that the boy comes from both of them.
