Octaves of the Heart Expired

Hi everyone,

I recently noticed that Octivesoftheart.com is expired and was really disappointed to see this. It's a great archive and from what I could tell the only link left for a lot of the stories it housed. Anyone know if the owner is still around? I'd really like to see this up and running again, at least long enough to move some of the works to a more permanent location like Ao3!

I’ve messaged Chrislee and I haven’t heard back yet. I’m planning to try a fandom friend of hers who I think is still in touch with her next.

Thanks, that's so good to know. I'm not active in the fandom, but I'd hate to see these old sites disappear. I'd be happy to help if it came to moving some of the content to another location. 🙂

Unfortunately, not much of an update on this. I did reach out to the fandom friend, who confirmed that Chrislee is busy. She promised to mention bringing the site back up if they talk soon, but the only contact she had was the one I've already used. I'll try again in a couple of weeks.

I'll mention that the next time I reach out! I would be happy to donate, too. I'm guessing it's more of a question of time/priority than finances, but it can't hurt to offer.

Octaves went down last November when the domain expired, too, but Chrislee brought it back up. I'm hoping the same will happen this year when she gets to it. But she has been out of the fandom for quite awhile now, so it's hard to know.
