The House Always Wins

VEGAS OR BUST - Tired of dealing with Connor (Vincent Kartheiser) and looking for Cordelia (Charisma Carpenter), Angel (David Boreanaz) decides to take Gunn (J. August Richards) and Fred (Amy Acker) on a road trip to Vegas to visit Lorne (Andy Hallet) who is performing in a showcase at one of the casinos. They discover that Lorne is being coerced by the casino owner into stealing the "significant destinies" of audience members to sell on the black market. When the casino owner learns that Angel is destined to play a major role in the apocalypse, Cordelia must come to his aid from a distance to prevent his future from being stolen. Alexis Denisof and Vincent Kartheiser also star. Marita Grabiak directed the episode written by David Fury.

Fred Was Brilliant Once Again, It Was Funny When She Screamed Out While Watching Lorne.

More Fred Please!
 
Yes!I'm really enjoying Angel at the moment,another good episode.Loved Las Vegas!Loved Lorne!Loved Angel reminiscing!Love Cordy as a higher being,lol!
Though I hope they don't do the "Amnesia" thing to death,the writers are better than that!😎
Almost forgot.....Wesley.....😱 ......😛
 
The episode was okay, there were a few laughs to be had 🙂

I really like Fred at the moment, she's really coming into herself i feel. Yeah, i laughed too when she squealed during Lorne's performance (i laughed even more at Gunn and Angel's reactions), but i also laughed when she was dressed up as a Lornette and she pretended to retch whilst helping Lorne to escape.. for some reason i found that pretty funny.

I liked the beginning when Angel was watching over Connor but still won't have him back at the hotel.

Angel sitting at the fruit machine, when Gunn told him he was his friend and Angel said "i'm not stupid".. and when his machine which was rigged not to win, actually did!. Higher-being intervention anyone?

And the return of Cordelia.. with amnesia it would seem.. got to be interesting... 🙂

I thought it was a slightly disappointing episode.. it passed the time, it didn't grab and hold my attention like it normally does. Hopefully with the return of Cordy, and her memory loss, things will begin to heat up at Angel Investigations 🙂
 
I was looking forward to this episode after reading about it, but have to say it wasn't quite as good as I had expected.

Lorne, of course, is always funny - the whole 'Fluffy' thing, being the international sign for 'Help, I'm being held prisoner' - lmao. I wondered back in the first ep I think it was, why they had shown a little bit more significance to that phone call between Lorne and Fred, and she was all like, 'Fluffy?'.😀

I'm still findng the whole Lilah/Wesley thing a bit icky and ewwww phone sex as well! Still I'm hoping that he'll end up back where he belongs.

Cordy's moments were funny even if brief. It'll be interesting to see how and why she has turned back up at the hotel with no memory, it seems, of who they all are.
 
I hate to say it but I was disappointed with this episode. Of course it had its good moments. Lots of Lorne, Cordy on form, brilliant Fred and as a Lornette - cool!!

However, I fell asleep towards the end - I cant believe I did that! It's only ever happened once before but in my defense I was knackered!!

Glad to see Lorne and Cordy back and the amnesia thing could be fun!
 
was cool,best Angel ep this season so far,and Angel at the end "I put the quarter in and pulled the lever thing" lol,i thought it was realy good,especialy when Lorne was singing,and gunn "he better not stick that microfone in my face!"
best Angel ep season 4 at the moment
