Potential

THE CHOSEN ONES - With the First taking time to regroup since the slaying of the Ubervamp, Buffy and Spike take on the task of training all the potential slayers. The coven in England discovers another slayer-in-waiting already living in Sunnydale, and Willow attempts a locator spell to find out who the girl is before the Bringers are able to get to her. However, the spell leads the gang to a surprising conclusion. James A. Contner directed the episode written by Rebecca Rand Kirshner.

Who else loves Amanda??? I think she is fab!
I liked her in what every episode she was in before but in Potential she was amazing!

I was upset for Dawn, not being the slayer. You never know she still could be. Xander is so kind!

Another brilliant episode!!! Cant wait for the next one!!!
I love all the potentials!!!

the episode was cool and this season is alot better than the last.
I thought dawn was meant to be butl oh well.

Its great to see spike and buffy training the potentials and gettin more close.
Can't wait for next weeks!!

I haven't seen all of this episode yet, I saw up to were Willow did the spell and they thought it was Dawn, what happened then? I can't remember who Amanda is...one of the potentials??

Anyone else think that Amanda's mannerisms are alot like Fred's? She really reminded me of her when she first joined Angel.

I'm not keen on any of the potential slayers but they haven't really had the chance to do alot yet so I'll wait and see what happens...

I liked the scene between Buffy & Amanda where they were talking about picking on boys and that - Buffy's reaction was just so season 1 to me! 😀

Look forward to next weeks episode.

Yes that's right,she's a Fred-alike!Some funny lines,I thought.......
Rhonda:I like a piece of wood in my hand
Kennedy:You've lost me there........

a pretty good Ep.,nothing great though......Again!!

Aww Xanders lil speech at the end was great! YAY HIM!

I loved the eppy, but i knew it was too easy for Dawn to be a potential, and i guessed it was gonna be the other girly, even my lil bro did. But i still loved it

XANDER RULES! :: tu ::

I really enjoyed this episode although I thought it was pretty average right up until the last scene. That was perfect. I love the idea that Xander and Dawn are special because they don't have powers. When Dawn had tears in her eyes, mine watered up a bit too - I surprised myself!!

I was really pleased to see both Amanda and Clem return. I have enjoyed their appearances in the past. There wasnt enough Clem though and I want to see what he showed the SiTs from the front!!

Amanda rocks - I love her voice and yes I can see an early Fredness to her. Although Molly is my favourite of the SiTs Id love to see Amanda become the next Slayer.

I loved Buffy and Amanda's conversation about people thinking they're weird.

I also really liked Vi. I didn't get much of an impression from her last week but I really enjoyed her scenes this week. I don't like getting attached to the SiTs because as stated in the episode a few if not all will be killed. And I bet my favourites will be first to go!!

Andrew and Anya provided many of the laughs again.

I liked how Spike was right back into the action and not all mopey or recovery. I loved his and Buffy's scenes together.

I love how the SiTs interact each other and how they welcomed Amanda to the group. I loved the scene where Amanda staked the vamp and how Buffy's lesson could be heard over the Amanda/Dawn scene.

Where has Chloe gone? Did I miss a reference to her absence?

I was getting used to Giles being back so his absense was also notable but at least this was explained. So we should get another new SiT next week? Something like Chao An?

I was glad that Wood didn't appear but I wasn't happy with the complete lack of Willow/Kennedy scenes.

I loved Rona and Kennedy's lines about wood. Very funny! I also liked Dawn's 'lecture' about weapons.

I also really liked Kennedy when she told Amanda that 'vamps good too'. She was really sweet then.

Bits that I didnt like were some of the scenes after the spell when the Scoobies were talking about Dawn. They seemed a bit forced. Also Dawn's reaction to the SiTs (although reasonable) seemed a bit season 6y!

I hope we get lots more Amanda this season and also more of Vi and Clem. And while Im on a role and having two characters I like back, how about a third? I'd love to see Kit return.

Still really looking forward to the next ep!!

Each SIT are really neat characters!!! Kennedy and Amanda are my favourites!!!

I enjoyed the scene with Dawn/Amanda with Buffys lesson being spoken over the top!!!

More Clem!!!

I like the SiTs a lot more than I thought I would. Although Chloe is my least favourite so far, I still wanna know where she's disappeared to.

Another thing that bothered me was that Buffy said that if she died one of the girls would be called. I didnt think the Slayer line ran through her any more. For one of the girls to be called, wouldn't it have to be Faith who died?? Or is this part of the disruption that Giles and Anya found out about. Does the Slayer line go through both Faith and Buffy now?

I didnt understand that! I think we will just have to wait and see!!

Chloe was also my least favourite, I think the reason being because I haven't seen much of her!!! Where she go???

If the slayer line does go through Buffy then shouldn't we be waiting for a new Slayer to arrive, I mean Buffy's died twice, Kendra was called then died, so Faith was called after the first death but what about the second. So surely one of these Potentials should have been activated already.

And does anyone else think that Buffy totally loves Spike. She was so concerned at his injuries at the beginning of the ep. And the look she gave him when she rescued him from the Turok Han's lair just made my heart melt.

Hi

I really enjoyed This Ep. Very Good.

XbuffywillowX Kendra died when Drusilla slashed her throat in Becoming, Part One From Season 2. Then Faith was called up.
HTH

Love Star xxxx

I liked this episode, mainly for Xander speech at the end, How sweet was that!
I dunno what u call her, but why oh why does that 'British' potential slayer talk like that?
No one talks like that over here, what are they thinking! It really annoys me! 😡

I like the way she talks!!! There are some of us who talk like that!!

Omg, ive never said or felt this before but I LOVE XANDER! That speech was about the sweetest speech ive ever seen on buffya nd i loved him so much for it! I was almost crying!

I thought joss had said the slayer line is no longer through buffy and only if faith dies will another slayer be called up, which was a worry coz of the mentally-unstable part as far as faith is concerned coz when buffy goes... uh oh! But buffy seems to think its still through her so im slighly confused!

Great eppy, loved xander (! ::heart:: !), cant wait for next week!

😀

Where did we see Amanda before? And what on earth is "Swing choir" (I think that's what Amanda said)? - some nerdy activity that is really as naff as it sounds?
Another good ep. Enjoyed Xander's "They also serve" speech to Dawn at the end.
