Same Time, Same Place
ALL ALONE - Willow arrives home, and the gang's waiting for her, but they can't seem to see each other. Meanwhile, a skin-eating demon is making the rounds in Sunnydale, and leaving victims that look quite like Warren did, leading Buffy, Dawn and Xander, and even Willow to wonder if she's connected to the killings. James A. Contner directed the episode written by Jane Espenson.

Dawn Bein Paralyzed, How Funny Was That!!!???
Her Fallin Of The Sofa, lol.

As soon as I saw Jane Espenson had written the episode I knew it would be a good one!

Alyson Hannigan looked more amazingly beautiful than ever, even my sister was impressed!

This episode had everything for me. For starters the return of Willow to Sunnydale (without Tara, Wil is my fave).

I felt a tremendous sadness for Willow as she walked around the Summers house alone and remembered Tara's murder (not that it ever leaves her thoughts).

It was also a very funny episode, every line Anya spoke was absolutely hilarious. I loved the "was that you", "no" bit between Ahn and Wil.

Loved it when paralysed Dawn fell off the settee - very funny, especially with the added Dawn squeal!

Gnarl was actually quite scary, to me anyway and he's up there in the leagues of the Gentlemen and the Queller demon!

This episode also had a beautiful ending. I loved the scene between Buffy and Willow, literally magic! The final shot of them meditating is up there with my favourite ever endings.

This season is only on episode 3 and already the standard of episodes is ridiculously high!! Hope it will be kept up.

Oh and I loved that Clem was mentioned! I hope he appears this season!

I think this was a very good episode. It was amazing how they put Willow where Buffy, Xander and Dawn was also, like that conversation with Spike. I think James did a super job at that.
How about the Gnarl demon? Scary or what! Oh, i just got shudders, did anyone know that the guy who played the Gnarl, played one of the gentlemen in Hush? Well, you do now! My mom was scared of the Gnarl!
Oh, and i just thought the bit where Dawn was paralyzed and Anya lifted her legs was hilarious.
Id give this episode, 8 out of 10.

Yeah i loved this one to everyone moving Dawn making her salute and sticking her legs in the air was very funny. As was the moment when Dawn fell off the sofa. The funniest bits were between Anya and Willow the "was it you" "no" scene made me burst with laughter.

I think James is being incredible this year the double scene were he was talking to Willow and Xander/ Buffy was brilliant, in fact hes been great in every scene so far.

Also must agree with everyone else the Gnarl is the scariest monster since the gentleman.

Also how great did Alyson Hannigan look?

Plus how come there was no big bad refurence?

I would think that would be because so far no-one is aware that there even is a Big Bad.🙂

I just love how this episode was done - and I could kick myself everytime for reading spoilers as I knew what was going on, with Willow and the others not being able to see each other, because Willow had unknowingly cast a spell. Had I not known then I would have been like 'Huh? What's going on?'. Despite that though it didn't disappoint and I thought it was really good how they kept showing us from Willow's perspective and then from Xander & Buffy's.

Willow and Anya's scene, as you have all said, were funny! 😀

Dawn I just found annoying till she fell off the sofa when the paralysis wore off - I think that's just because I have been watching S6 again as well, in which she just irritated the hell out of me!

It was also good to see another excellent performance from James, he has been really outstanding in all his scenes so far this season - I know, I know only 3 episodes in but they have all been really good!

Once again left waiting for more of the same.😀

Just yeah to everything everyone else has said!
For once, no great big paragraph from me! Lol.
Great episode, thought aly looked ok - seen her looking prettier... dawn fabulously funny, as was anya - actually think shes looking good... just really good episode!

🙂

Yeah 3 eps in and James scenes have stolen the show evey time. This is looking like the best season ever.
