Selfless

WITH A VENGEANCE - Anya seeks vengeance for a wronged college girl, and her spell ends in the death of several frat boys. As Anya reconsiders her actions, Buffy realizes she has to take her stand as the slayer against Anya, much to the chagrin of Xander. Willow re-enrolls at UC Sunnydale and tries to find a more peaceful solution to the Anya situation. David Solomon directed the episode written by Drew Goddard.

Halfreks Dead!::crying2: ::crying2: ::crying2: ::crying2: ::crying2:

Enjoyed The Flashbacks Especially Goin Back To The Musical. Wasnt The Musical In 2002? Anyas Hair Wasnt Like That In It, It Was In Hells Bells Though, There Apartment Looked Totally Not There Apartment!

I Enjoyed Seeing Olaf Back And D'Hoffryn! Well Not D'Hoffryn Actually He Killed Halfrek! ::crying2: ::crying2: ::crying2:

I Enjoyed The Episode OverAll. So Far From Beneath You, The Last Minute Has Been Silence!

I Enjoyed This Episode Very Much, Enjoyed Watching Anya And Willow!

In Anyas Flashback To 1902 Wasnt It, The Revolution Outside How Naff Did The Effects Look! Oh And The First Spider Creature, It Has To Be The Naffest Effect I Have Seen, Worst Than Farscapes Effects!

🙂 loved the Swedish(?) scenes v.good!

Not my favourite ep by a long shot though........Willow's red tights were nice though........::blush::
The song was great as well, though continuity was haphazard to say the least

i totally loved selfless. i can't beleive Buffy didn't know that willow didn't tellxander to tell her to kick angels ass! i loved Anya's song and the whole arguemnet scene between the 3 main Scoobs

I loved the episode, definately my fave this season. I loved the flashback parts and D'Hoffryn always managaes to make me laugh. I was really shocked by Willow's little Evil Willow phase for a couple of seconds when she was fending off the spider. Overall I really enjoyed the episode!

***** 5 stars!

This was a GREAT episode, im Anya's number 1 fan so i loved this episode. The bits with Aud and Olaf and the subtitiles were hilarious! ''You are small and toylike!'' LOL!

Loved this episode a lot. Season 7 has settled me in easier than season 6 did so I'm starting to love this season already.

I really liked it. Esp Buffy talking about Angel which she so rarely does.

I didn't like the Anya song so much - but I loved her and Olaf 🙂

Found this episode enjoyable, but certainly not the best so far - it seemed to be all over the place. It was nice to see some of Anya's past - and I always find D'Hoffryn amusing for some reason. I'm glad Halfrek got killed, she really grated on me! I also wanted to slap Xander - sometimes he can be so obnoxious!! I know he still loves Anya, but for crying out loud, as Buffy said, she had to kill Angel so if anyone knows how he feels, it's her, and he was talking to her as if she hadn't got a clue!

Also as well, for the first time in the 7 yrs Buffy has been running, I jumped out of my skin when that ruddy great big spider demon was behind Willow - I was looking down at the time, looked up and it just appeared - I think just bad timing on my part 'lol'

Seeing Red - any particular reason why you put a capital letter at the start of every word? And they've definitely had worse effects that than spider.

I really enjoyed Selfless but it left me asking where does Anya go from here? I'm really interested to find out how she will still play a part in the show.

Aud and Olaf were great. I love that even when she was human first time around she spoke her mind. And the bunnies!!

I loved Anya's song - wow, a mini sequel to OMWF. The hair confused me but I think it was put in Hell's Bells sttyle because she ended up in her wedding dress.

I loved the teaser with Anya's 'what have I done'.

The spider wasn't the best effects but it gave a creepy scene when crawling up the wall behind Willow.

Willow scared me! I loved the protective barrier but the black eyes and harsh words shocked me. Me and my sister exchanged wtf glances when that happened!

Loved how Buffy dispatched of the spider but the cuts on her back were painful to watch. The argument over Anya was good and I loved how season 2 and Angel were all brought up with Willow's 'I didn't say that'!

Didn't like seeing Buffy and Anya fight but that's because I luv 'em both!

D'Hoffryn seemed a lot more menacing this time around, and a real threat. Hell's Bells has one of my favourite endings and I'm glad Anya stood up to D'H this time instead of doing what he wanted. Although this led to the death of Hallie who I enjoyed as a character, it was time for her to go as the wasn't much that could be done with her character.

I liked the 'from beneath you, it devours' reference. We've had that like three times now right. Can't wait!!

Oh yeah, I loved Willow's outfit when she was at the college!

"I loved how season 2 and Angel were all brought up with Willow's 'I didn't say that'!"

I couldn't believe they brought that up and then didn't resolve it! Talk about teasing the viewers.

"I loved Anya's song - wow, a mini sequel to OMWF."

An opportunity missed I'd say - the song was way off compared to OMWF and the scene was a total continuity disaster. Oh well.

"I liked the 'from beneath you, it devours' reference."

I'm not getting this at all. The gang seem to be deeply worried about this and all the warning they've had is people repeating this same phrase. Considering all the evilness they've already faced do you really think they would be geniunely scared by 'from beneath you, it devours'? I don't think so.

Lol, i completely jumped! Lol, even though the effetcs werent as fantastic as they have been, i jumped out my skin too! My sister screamed, lol.

Great eppy - IMO, the best so far this season.

I LOVED the aud and olaf scenes! I thought the flashbacks were clever and that going back to the musical was a clever and creative idea but the song wasnt a touch on the actual episode and its quality. Still enjoyable though.

I too enjoyed buffy actually talking about angel and her love for him - i really liked it.

And the whole buffy-anya fight and stabbing was quite shocking yet brilliant.

🙂

"Where does Anya go from here"

Anya was a great character to begin with but she's totally lost her shine. She should have left Sunnydale after becoming a vengeance demon. I actually thought for a minute that she'd be killed off in this episode. Guess I should have known better...
