Official Discussion of 7.16 "Storyteller" (SkyOne-UK)

Also an Andrew fan here (well only season 7 Andrew!) Actually I think I started to like him at the end of season 6 but that doesn't matter!

A fairly Andrew centric episode should be hilarious but hopefully we will get to see more of his serious side.

Xander and Anya scenes should be good to watch as well.

I dont know if I will be able to cope with this episode, if there is load of Andrew!!! Xander and Anya scenes will be good!

This episode sounds great from the many spoilers i've read (I'm a spoiler junkie), more lighthearted and less doom and gloom plus it has the ace Andrew as the centre character. I liked him before but after seeing the scene with the microwave and the first he has become one of my favs (After Spike of course)

I am looking foward to this eppy so much, also another Andrew fan and a spoiler addict so i've read so much. Yay yay yay!!! Xander and Anya woohoo! I love them so much!

I thought Storyteller was great. Andrew had me laughing none stop. I loved his fantasies, Buffy and Spike looked great in that one.

It's strange because I really didn't like Andrew in season 6 but now he's gonna end up as one of my all time favourites!!

I loved the ending too, that was quite touching and the final scene was sweet. I'm looking forward to Andrew's involvement next week. Hopefully Buffy and the others will accept him more and Andrew will be more Scoobylike!! If Kennedy can act like she belongs there so can Andrew!!

I loved Amanda (again) this ep when she introduced herself to the camera. I'm hoping that if a spin off is launched, Amanda will be kept around for it.

I was disappointed that Molly didn't appear, oh well, I'll cross my fingers for next week!!

I also loved when Dawn had her 'interview', she was really sweet then.

I was disappointed that Xander and Anya didn't have a longer lasting reunion but I guess it makes sense to keep them apart and at least they had some nice scenes together.

Jane Espenson does it again!!! Definately one of the best of an already brilliant season.

That was.......Interesting.......Hmmmmmm,didn't all work very well but there were some fab moments......

Adored the bit where W&K were snogging and he talks about the sash on the window!!:: teeth :

Downside for me was when Wood tried to dust Spike, blink and you missed it.......That would a pretty big deal for both characters not something to just throw in the mix........Andrew's tears as well::nopity:: I wasn't feeling it.......

Good ep but not brilliant. Some interesting moments. Wood and Spike. Andrew and Xander (I'm surely not the only one to notice Andrew's interest - hero-worship or crush?). Andrew's epiphany in the basement. Where the Bringers come from. And some good comic bits - the Trio as gods my fave. I'm staring to dislike Kennedy though.

Didn't notice any mention of Willow's visit to LA. Are the eps out of sync. on Sky1 or did it happen between this ep and the next one?

Great episode this was. Andrew has been totally revamped from last season. His character is totally amusing. I kinda felt sorry for him too.

Ok, just for you to know...the episodes are out of sync... it's like this

Lies My Parents... - Orpheus - Dirty Girls

I LOVED THIS! WAY better than' ? ', IMO.

I didnt like andrew last season, absolutely adore him now! Hilarious! I especially loved the "We are gods" scenes (LOL) and the bit where W&K were kissing and he starts on a close up of the window ("Something you viewers might be interested in") - sooo funny!!

Still dislike Kennedy a lot - so out of place and annoying. Just coz shes Willows girlf, she hangs around with all the true scoobies and gets to boss the other potentials around - unfair and just not right.

I thought (and although i love her, i never really find it something to particularly mention) that smg was brilliant in this eppy! Very good acting and really liked her expression when Andrew asked what she would ahve done if tears hadnt worked - great acting and i appreciated buffy's character and its development there too.

Great eppy from a great season.

😀

A rather odd episode there! I loved the candid effect, the quality just makes them seem more real if you know what I mean? The introduction with Andrew was superbly played...infact he's a pretty damn good actor, really got my sympathy at the end. The bit with Willow and Kennedy was very funny too.

Overall, great episode, unusual direction and style but when you're in your seventh season it's great to do the odd episodes like this 🙂
