From Flights of Angel

THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE "“ With Angel (David Boreanaz) trapped on the ocean floor and Cordelia (Charisma Carpenter) stuck on a mystical plane, Fred (Amy Acker) and Gunn (J. August Richards) are frustrated at the lack of clues regarding their friends' whereabouts, especially after the only eyewitness to Angel's disappearance is murdered. After Angel is rescued by the most unlikely person, the shocking reasons behind the mysterious disappearances become clear. Written by: Steve DeKnight. Directed by: Terrence O'Hara.

Where do I start? Lilah and Wes with Justine in the closet, he's become a very good liar, he even has Lilah totally fooled, or at least it seemed that way to me.

I do feel sorry for Wes, and I hope there will be some sort of reconciliation after what he has just done tonight. I still don't like Conner but then I guess I've been given nothing to really like about him as yet. Let me just say 'YAY FRED'!!! It was great to see her want to make Conner suffer for what he has done to Angel, she is growing on me, I have to say.

Oh, and mustn't forget Lilah in the boardroom, love her or hate her you have to give her credit! 'lol' Gavin's expression when she asked him to clear up the *mess* was priceless! 😀😀

Wonder if Conner will take any notice of his father's little speech or not? Didn't take Cordy long to get bored did it either? I somehow can't see her being this 'higher being' after her action-packed days in Sunnydale and L.A.

Look forward to next weeks episode!

Six months of waiting finally over!!! and my God it was worth the wait...

Angel hallucinating.

Gunn and Fred and the way they were parenting Connor, it was all very familiar. I like the stronger Fred, it suits her and i hope its a permanent thing.

Wesley, yikes!!!.. though i thought having Justine caged and tied in his closet was entirely too good for her.. but i must admit, i liked the comment about threatening to take away her bucket as she prepared to brain him with the monkey wrench!, and it worked!!. LOL!!.

And Fred, acting very sweet and maternal with Connor, bringing him a meal to his room and then zapping him. Yikes!, remind me not to get on the wrong side of her!, and the way she went at him about hurting Angel, go Fred!!!.

And Angel's speech, telling him "I love you Connor, now get out of my house".

And LOL at Cordy at the end, typical of her or what? 😀

Looking forward to next week already 🙂

God, yeah I forgot about the bucket comment to Justine from Wes!

You had to love Angel and his 'my girlfirend sent me to a hell dimension for a 100 yrs' comment too, I don't think they use humour enough with him and when they do he pulls it off well! I think my head is still reeling actually from everything that happened and as you said, it was worth the wait!!

After the final episode of season 3 is was just a relief to see everybody return! (Except Groo). But yes, I thought it was a very good opener.

Once again the status quo is shook up at Wolfram and Hart. I love Lilah and thought that the decapitation scene was brilliant.

I was glad to see Justine again too as I see her as a really tragic character who just needs somebody to be there to help and support her. She's like a non Slayer Faith. I'd love Angel to take her in after seeing the goodness inside of her.

Fred and Gunn are my favourites and it was good to see them get plenty of screen time. And how cool is Fred now that she is more kick ass?! I loved when she used Angel's wrist stakes on the vamp and also when she shocked Connor. And Amy Acker is looking amazingly beautiful.

I really liked Gunn's reactions to Fred saying bro and dog etc. They are such a cool couple - why do I get the feeling they will be broken up? Oh yeah, cos all the best relationships in Buffy/Angel land do. lol I guess that's what keeps them interesting.

This episode had not enough Lorne though but the major Fred/Gunn bits made up for it.

I liked when Connor was "did you see how cool that was" etc, that was quite cute! I also like how Connor's powers are shown like the blurring when he uses his speed. But how dare he cattle prod Fred!

The ending was fantastic and yes, very, very Cordylike! I can't wait to see what happens (if) when she gets back down to Earth!

God, I can't wait for next week!!

I don't think Angel should take Justine in. What she did, even at Holtz's bequest, was cruel, and unjustified.. what had Angel ever done to her?, (apart from being a vampire).. he saved her butt in "Benediction", and this was the thanks that he got?.. but saying that, i suppose you could put the same reasons in front of Faith and he guided her onto the road to redemption. But saying that, it's already been "done" with Faith, so i couldn't see them going down the same road with Justine.

A lot of people don't like Connor, or at least the character of Connor, but i like him, he's interesting to watch and i'm interested in how his character will turn out this season. I liked the way he was acting "tough", but the teen was still in there, and the way Gunn and Fred seemed to be almost like his surrogate parents, which is why when Connor tazed Fred, that shocked me (if you'll pardon the pun) and for someone being so thin, she sure got over it quickly!.

Why was Justine helping Wesley?did i miss something at the back-end of last season..........😕 .........::wave::

Nope, you didn't. 🙂 I think we are just meant to assume that during the 3 months that Angel was missing that Wesley, through certain means managed to find out what had happened to him, and that Justine and Conner were responsible. So he tracked down Justine and locked her up in his closet giving her no alternative but to assist him in finding Angel.

Such a cool season opener, and a big YAY to Wes for saving Angel. 😀😀

As somebody already said, I do think the gang have given Wes too much of a hard time over what he did to Conner. 🙁 Yes he should have trusted them and told them what he had found out, but they should have also understood his reasons for what happened.

Hopefully because of Wes saving Angel, this might in some way 'start' to get everything sorted between them all. Although I'm not holding my breath yet!!

And way to go Lilah, I have to say, I know she's classed as a baddy, but I do love her character, she really has got guts, the way she handled them in the staff meeting, and Gavin's reaction was really funny. 🙂

I hope we see Fred going from strength to strength too, the way she handled things was really cool, her character has definitely grown.

Can't wait to see next weeks eppy now. 🙂

I dont think Cordelia could have said anything more funnier than that!
I couldnt stop laughing, i chuckle thinking about it now.
