I will wait until I hear it from a reliable source, unless its already heard. If you mean the thing with Joss saying this is the last season 😛 Which is not his choice since he is contracted to do the show for a eight season as well. And even without SMG he will then be forced to continue.

Contracted:
It means that the producers are bound to creating a new season as the network orders it, but the network is not bound to ordering it.
 
Is he contracted for another season? ... I though the contrac was for till the seventh and Angels was to the Fifth, so there would be at least one more year of Angel.

a new site? what makes them a new site? i've been using them as a reference for Buffy from at least as far back as season 3 or 4 - and their statements have never been too off base that i can remember.

mind you - i'm not wanting them to be right about this one.

oh well - i guess we shall see. i haven't heard that thing about Joss' decision anywhere else and it seems like you would if it were true.
 
The third season of BtVS on DVD will be a great seller. This is mostly going to be in part because of the official mention of the First as being the Big Bad. Since it was last seen in "Amends," people will grab the DVD set to see the ep again. I know I will, in addition to the fact that Season 3 is one of my favorite seasons.
 
I recorded "Amends", a couple of months so I don't need to buy Buffy Season 3 on DVD, seeing that I don't own a DVD player. Back on the topic, I think Angel was the one who was supposed to be in Spike's place, but the First fail with Angel seeing as Buffy rescue him from killing himself, so when Spike got his soul, The First decided to try again with Spike. That was my opinion.
