The joyful reunion between Angel (David Boreanaz) and his now teenage son Connor (guest star Vincent Kartheiser) is short-lived when the enraged Connor comes seeking revenge against Angel for murder. Meanwhile, just at the moment when Cordelia (Charisma Carpenter) and Angel are finally ready to face their feelings for each other, she is sent a message from the Powers That Be concerning her future.

Alexis Denisof, J. August Richards and Amy Acker also star. David Greenwalt wrote and directed the episode.

Everyone's gone except Fred and Gunn. These two were part of the team, but they don't possess any supernatural powers. They're only human. Where are they gonna get help to bring Angel back? Where could they turn too? Perhaps, some backup help in....I don't know.....Sunnydale? Who knows.

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grrrrrrrrrr! I hate how they do this to us. Justine!!!! The bitca!!! I so violently dislike her! I Hate her!!!!! I wish she would just die!!!!!!

And might I just say... Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!
Gross even! Wesley and Lilah ???!!!😱 I never thought that would happen!!! Sure, when it first showed him, I thought, "Yay! Wesley!Clothing-less!!" And then I thought, "He wouldnt be talking to himself!" And then, "Oh my God, He wouldn't be sleeping with....Oh my God!!!! Ew!! Lilah?" And then I burried my head in a pillow.

But How are they gonna bring Angel back? this is so depressing!! And Cordelia is like, Gone too!!!!
I miss Groo!!!🙁 🙁
I miss Lorne!!!!🙁
Fred and Gunn are the only ones left...so where do they go from here?
And If Fred gets any more likable, I'm gonna have to go to LA to kick her or something!!! (in case you can't tell, I'm trying to stay mad at her because of the mean things she said and did to Wesley. It's not working.)

Okay, I guess i'm done... and I can't wait until next season!!!
 
I give Wes props for getting some of the good stuff!!! Even if it's from Lilah. At first, I yelled out oh my god!, but I had to remember to be quiet because my roommate was studying. Poor Wes. You lie down with dogs and you're going to wake up with fleas!!! I think this is starting his road to the darkside. As for Cordy, does this mean that she is not coming back at all?? I hate to see her leave.🙁

I'm going to miss Lorne. He is so funny. Groo was so cute because he was so naive. *sigh* Why do they always take the good ones??!! Poor Angel. I wonder how long he survive under water? Anyway, the season finale was pretty good. Poor Fred and Gunn are all by themselves. The season premiere should be good in the fall. 😀
 
Angel will survive forever underwater, because he doesn't need oxygen. that's the whole torture of it! disgusting!

Justine. someone just kill her already? She's BEYOND annoying.

Fred: gerenally better... but she's getting whiny.

Gunn: not much happened.

Cordy: the lightbulb is back, and in full force! that whole ascending to be an angel thing was rediculous. I REALLY hope she'll be back next season, and with Angel.

Groo: HE'S GONE! *dances in the streets* I won't have to see those Evil Willow eyes anymore! he was beyond annoying. but his farewell to cordy was good.

Lorne: HE CAN'T LEAVE! I love that guy! he brings SO MUCH humour (much needed) to the show!

Connor: dammit, I LIKE him. he's got that great side smile like Angel has. and the fight scene when Angel was teaching him was great. along with the drive-in scene.

Wesley: oh COME ON! can you say path-to-the-darkside? as much as I love him... that was BAD.

Angel: I loved the whistling and huming bit... and his whole insecurity thing with Cordy... the dad-like scenes... I love seeing him happy.. and whe he told Connor "I love you" even when connor was dropping him in the ocean... wow.
 
Y'know, I don't know why I bother to like characters on TV anymore as they die, leave, or just get written badly. I mean, I knew Groo was going to get lost because of course Angel and Cordelia are in love with one another! Why didn't I see that through the lack of chemistry? I mean, each acts quite well when "moping" over the other, but together... It's the anti-spark for me.

Maybe I just wanted bitter Groo to stick around for awhile longer and he made me incredibly sad with his goodbye to Cordelia. His "Tell me I'm wrong".. *sniffle* Okay, I'm a sucker. No need to point and laugh.

Lorne: Come baaaaaaaaaaack! As my one unending source of joy, you can't just get me situated in this show and then leave! G'ah.

Wes: While shooting off the one liners, I still... I mean... Lilah? You know that can't lead to anything good for him. ::grrr2::

And Conner: I wonder if he'll find out the complete truth, and if he does, what'll happen to Justine. [I'm hoping for a nice violent death, or perhaps a burial at sea]
 
Hey... if Cordy's gone... they need more fem power on the show. (Fred harldy supplies ANY)

I Say we get Faith out of jail! We've have a vamp-with-a-soul and a slayer on one show... and a vamp-with-a-soul and a slayer on the other. NOT that I want Faith and Angel together... don't get me wrong, that'd be bad. But I want a kick-ass girl on Angel, and Faith's it!
 
Wow... don't know what to think after that season finale. I must admit that I didn't like much the "Cordy becomes an angel" thing but it sure adds to the cliffhanger.

The story between Connor and Angel was great! It was nice to see Angel happy for a change 😉

Wesley!!!! Can someone wake him up so he can come back to reality? Gee Lilah! 🙁

OMG! JustAnotherFan, I swear you must've read my mind or something! :: wacko2 All the things that you put in your post are exactly the way I feel too! I really hate Justine ::grrr:: Someone needs to kill her already. She's such a bitch. Telling and making Connor believe that Angel killed Holtz. That is sooo wrong. Just wait she'll get what's coming to her. I just know it. All the evil ::evil:: things she's doing now will come back and bite her
in the a**!

I didn't like the whole Wesley/Lilah sleeping together thing
either ::thumb:: Wesley hates her, right? Doesn't it seem like Lilah doesn't have a life? I mean she's always going to see Wesley at his apartment and stuff.

It was so sad when Lorne ::devil:: said that he was leaving. I just couldn't believe it! His character is so funny! :: wacko : I hope that he's not gone for long! Please have him come back?!

OK. I really don't like the Cordy/Angel thing. I just can't picture them together at all. I feel so bad ::bsad:: for Groo. He came back all the way from Pylea just to be with Cordy. That totally sucks for him. I'll miss Groo 🙁

I'm wondering how they're gonna bring back Angel ::angel:: too. That'd be so cool if Wesley saved him! Then they'll be like friends again. Is Angel ever going to forgive him? I really want the whole gang together again. I miss that. I can't believe that we have to wait 2-3 months for season 4! That's a long time! I think that I'll be able to deal.
 
First of all...Cliffhangers are evil! But thats beside the point 😀

What are they doing to Cordelia?!?!? The ascending into some other dimension or whatever...What were the writer's smoking when they thought that one up? Obsviously I didn't like that part of the episode.

The Connor/Angel stuff was good, I liked that.

The Lilah/Wesley thing will be giving me nightmares for weeks to come...

And Lorne! They can't get rid of Lorne! He's awesome 😀
 
oh my well to start with I so hope that Justine finds herself maimed or better yet torterd oh I got it what we need here is a little of the old Faith torter ya Faith gets out of jail finds out what happend to Angel and tortures where justine dumped angel at LOL!!! that sounds great to me

And Please pretty please with a cherry on top bring Loren back I love this guy he brings so much laughter to the show .

I must say I also yelled what the *- - --*when I seen who Wesley had slept with .

So do you suppose that Fred will go looking for Wesley to help find Crdie and Angel since she and Gunn are the only ones left

I guess there is no telling what will happen till next season
 
Hey, Spike's R W, Fred going to Wes would be SO cool! But what if she finds out about him and Lilah? And he was the one whining about Angel and Lilah on his desk. But in his bed?! He probably just doesnt care anymore....

Wow - good ep. And way to leave us hanging 🙁 Can't wait for season 4! I liked Groo and I really hope Lorne isn't gone for good. A lot of you seem to not like Fred but I absolutely LOVE her! She's fast becoming one of my favorite characters! I loved the part where she was all "I wanna be the vampire" and then she did the big "grrr" thing 🙂 She's so funny.
I still don't understand all about Cordy's powers and I didn't know that she was able to control them. What exactly do they do? Just eliminate "bad stuff"?
Did anyone notice that when she was having the 'discussion' with herself after Groo left, that the vision one of her was all bits and pieces of the conversation she had later on with Skip; so really she was seeing into the future...

Ok - one more thing. Angel is supposed to live forever at the bottom of the ocean (we know that Vamps don't need air). But they do need blood (ie: Remember Spike after he got the chip and couldn't feed and how he came to Giles all sickly and weak). So wouldn't Angel eventually die b/c he doesn't have any blood to eat? Can someone please clarify this for me b/c it's really been buggin me 🙂

It's not that I don't like Fred, I'm just trying to stay mad at her because I love Wesley and she was so mean... But it's not working, because she's so funny and, as much as I hate to admit it, she and Gunn do make a cute couple.

It was bugging me too!!! But then I remembered Spike saying something like:
Do you know what happens to vampires if they don't get blood? They don't die, they get all shriveled up like the hungry poster children for third-world countries--only not half as funny.
He said something to that effect, because I remember laughing about it, bu I wouldnt quote me on it!!!
Anyway, it means that they don't die without blood, they just get really skinny and sad looking.
 
I was wondering about the need for blood too... but Angel, really skinny and sad looking? Gasp! the horror of it!

Perhaps blood is just what gives them their strength and isnt what sustains their 'unlife.' Does anyone remember what Spike said about blood during 'The Gift'. Somethine like "blood is life? why do you think we eat it?"

Yeah, Spike said something like:
"It's always the blood.Blood is life. Why do you think we eat it?"
He meant that everything revolves around blood because no one could live without it.
That's my theory, anyway.
