Bring on the Night

WAITING FOR TOMORROW - Giles returns to Sunnydale, bringing three slayers-in-training with him. Meanwhile, Buffy and the gang try to discover more about the First, but don't find much to work with. Spike remains a prisoner of the First and is tortured by the newly arrived Ubervamp, who then brings the havoc to Buffy. David Grossman directed the episode written by Marti Noxon and Douglas Petrie.

Why did Annabelle have to die??? I liked her!!!
It was good to see Dru/The First again, I just love how she acts!!!
I kinda liked Kennedy of what I have seen of her!!!
The last big speech made by Buffy was neat!!! I liked it when there were close ups of them all!!!
The UberVamp is well strong, Buffy was badly hurt!!!
Im kinda scared how Buffy is going to end!!!
 
I really liked this episode, and the speech at the end so was really good, even though it was a bit cheesey! 😀
I loved the arrival of Giles and the potentials too, but I was sad to see Annabelle go, she was my favourite from the threesome of potentials who arrived.

I give this episode five stars! *****
 
Bring on the night was best ep so far! i loved buffy's speech and it was sad to see her gettin beaten almost to death. the ubervamp is the best villian, he so scary. willow's magic was great. Spike, how fun it is to see him get beat up!!!!!

It was allright......Nothing amazing,there's too many people already!Those accents,Molly's especially(I think that's her name!)::rolf:: ,to be honest it's a shame they didn't all get killed!The potentials I mean...... :: red dev

I only really liked annabelle and so i think i will eventually despise all the potentials.
Buffy's speech was cheesy but also very good.
Dru was the high point of the ep. for me

Not fantastic but still good i'd give it 4 stars ****
 
The one potential we all seen to like was killed off!!! (Annabelle)
 
The end speech was phenominal!!! So not cheesy, good speech!!!
 
Thank god Annabelle died! what an annoying piece of poo! mollys english accfent is worst than Drusilla and that is saying something! it was good to see Dru again, buffys speech at the end was just brilliant! it got me all tingly!
 
Another episode title I liked!!

I really loved Never Leave Me, so Bring On The Night had a lot to follow up on and in my opinion it didn't match.

I enjoyed it but it wasn't an amazing episode!

It was good to see Giles but I want to know how he survived that axe that was ever so close to his neck!! I hope he didn't die and is now actually a manifestation of the First.

It was good to see Joyce again, although I was surprised it was so soon since her last appearence. I hope her appearence is nothing sinister. It would be nice to have her around as a sort of spirit giude for Buffy. Id also like to know how or if her appearence here and in CWDP are connected.

Woohoo! Dru's back! Well not really Dru but for all intents and purposes it was her, lol.

Slayers In Training - I like the idea but I hope that there wont be too many. I liked the new girls as well. Molly might have a bad accent but I like her, I think she could have potential. Annabelle was ok. I'd rather she hadn't died and she can't have been that smart if she chose to go out at night with no protection. I get that she bolted because she was scared but duh!

Kennedy is my favourite of the new girls. She seems very forward! I loved her line about hoping that Willow doesn't hog the covers. And I also loved Willow's reaction!

The spell was amazing, watching Willow get posessed was scary and the voice!!

I didn't like Dawn this ep. She seemed too eager to want to slap Andrew. I know I'm hypocritical because I laughed when Anya did it but I didn't like the delight Dawn took in it. However I did like Anya and Dawn conspiring about the water and Dawn's guilty reaction on Buffy's entrance.

Principal Wood was so creepy! I dont think I like him.

There wasn't enough Anya and Andrew either.

The Ubervamp really kicked Buffy's arse and although their fights were good to watch, I hope he gets disposed of soon. And why didnt Buffy take out weapons when she went looking for Annabelle?

It was awful to see Buffy so battered. I didnt like the bit where Xander and Willow found her, she looked so vulnerable and well dead!

I did like Buffy's speech at the end and the way the Scoobs and SiTs were all watching and listening intently. I liked the music in the background to, I thought it went with the moment well.

Although I wasn't blown away by this episode Im still very much looking forward to the next.
 
Grrr why do they insist on portraying the brits with those ridiculous accents I mean noone talks like that anymore... and I was a bit dubious about Giles showing up... was that really him, then those slayers in training showed up and I suppose it is... just suppose though 😛

Although Dru being Dru being the first evil just didn't seem real, not right what so ever, she wasn't bloody crazy enough, her tone was off dammit...

All in all a nice little episode... and did Joss give Marti a lil help with that speech at the end? Hmmm Hmmm... making it look as though she was gonna give up all together and then Bam, this is war and we're an army type.
 
It was good to see Joyce back again along with Dru. Some pretty good moments, Willow being posessed with The First. Shame about the quality of the English accents from the slayers-in-training, they seem to blend English and Australian together! It's shaping up into a good season tho 🙂
 
I missed this episode, I'm really pissed off, so I came on here to see what happened as my friend sent me a text message saying 'THATS NOT GILES!' and I had no idea whats shes talking about, so erm my friend thinks its not Giles! *lol* Whats with he slayers in training anyway, why are they here, seems a bit strange to me?
 
mm, I don't think it's Giles either. In the episode it still doens't explain what happened when he had an axe thrown to his head! I agree with AmberHannigan, I think it's a manifestation of The First 🙁
 
Is it really Joyce that keeps appearing, or is it the First. Becuase think about it, we definitely know that Cassie came to Willow as The First, but that happened at the same time that Joyce appeared to Dawn. So maybe it was Joyce, and in 'Bring On The Night' Joyce appeared to Buffy IN HER DREAMS, im not saying that this is not one of the things The First can do (appear in peoples dreams) but i personally think that we are infact seeing Joyce in the flesh, or, you know, ghost substitute for flesh? I dont know!
 
Annabelle deserved to die for being so goddamned stupid - then Buffy annoyed me by following with no weapon...

Speech was good though - Go Buffy!!

Spike gets tortured too much - give him a break!!
Drusilla/The First seemed a bit off to me, too (still, it wasn't really her I guess)

How DID Giles survive the ax attack? WAS that Giles? Hmm.

Slayers in Training were almost indistinguishable from each other to me ...a bit peas in a pod, despite the 'accents'...

And Kennedy - does she have Gaydar or what? :0)
 
This was the best eppy so far this season! If i think about it, it was MEGA-cheesy but youre not supposed to think like that. I was watching, engrossed, with no lights on and really, truthfully, i thought the speech was very inspirational... fabulous episode.

What made Annabelle run away?

Why didn't Giles mention the bringer attack?

Did Giles touch anything?


Why did the watcher council refers to Giles as their "former employee"?, considering the hire him back in season 5 "checkpoint".


Do Kennedy really have "Gayder"?, or do she know something?🙄

What happen in at the beginning of season 6 "Villains"?

I don't know i liked the fact that Buffy got her ass whooped, coz the ubervamp is way cool. But i didn't really like the eppy that much. I liked seeing Dru again too, coz she is just so great.
