I'm usually torn between seasons 2 and 3 but after much thought I think it has to be three. While the Angelus story and the episodes in that arc are some of my favourites, three is consistently good. I can't think of any episodes I don't like. I love Faith, the Mayor, Graduation and there's even a hint of Angelus in there too! 😀

Like Bluebie said, it's classic Buffy and it has always been what BtVS is about for me.

I don't usually get in to rating seasons, mostly because the other shows I like are consistent through the seasons but with BtVS I guess it would be: 3, 2, 1, 4, 5, 7, 6.

I went with Two. It was the season that got me into Buffy, it is the season with my favourite ep and my favourite storyline. While I think three is technically better, two is the most important season to me.

I picked season 6. Once More with Feeling, Dark Willow and everything to do with Spike.

I voted 3 as its probably has the most consistant and best eps. It had the best collection of baddies too Faith, Mayor, Kralik, Trick, Evil Willow!

My order would go: S6, S7, S4, S5, S2, S3, S1. 🙂

My order would be:

S6 (OMWF, Tillow, Normal Again, Dark Willow, The Trio, etc, etc)
S7 (I absolutely love the first half, and there are a few epys later on that I adore, ie: Storyteller, Lies My Parents Told Me)
S1 (I kinda feel bad putting this, but honestly, it has my absolutely favorite episode, The Pack, and Prophecy Girl, and I just have this really warm feeling thinking about getting to know all the characters within 12 episodes)
S4
S3 (Like others have said, this season probably has the most consistent good episodes, but I just couldn't put it over Hush, Riley, and college life)
S2 (Very good, but God, it has some crappy episodes)
S5 (Meh, it just wasn't that great imo)
But at the end of the day, The Body is phenomenal, potential story wasn't that great, and The Zeppo is one of my favorite episodes, so... Besides S5 and S6 being where they're at on my list (and even those are really close, well, except S6. I can't think of anything bad about it) it was very hard to choose.

It was really hard to decide for my no1! Cause I was torn between season 2 and season 3. Season 2 won but season 3 comes very close to victory also! So my top7 goes like this:

I got a lotta love for S3.
My order is: 3, 5, 2 = 4, 7, 6, 1

2 has a really good overall arc, with weaker standalones. 4 is basically the opposite for me.

I voted for season 5 because it's the season that touched me the most. It had a lot of sad moments and just felt so different from the previous ones when I watched it the first time. Glory isn't my favorite villain but she was decent enough for that season. Buffy's mom death, Riley leaving, Dawn finding out she's the key and the end of the season were couples of the really sad scenes for me.

It's hard for me to put an order for all of them because I don't dislike any of the seasons... but it probably would go like this:

5-3-4-2-6-1-7

Season 5 for me. It was the best of unsoulled Spike, Glory was fantastic, and I enjoyed the mystery that was Dawn.

I had to go for season 2. I think 3 is more consistently good overall (and probably 5 as well), but I love the Angelus arc so much that it makes up for the first half (which I still like, just not as much). I'm probably biased because the latter half of season 2 was my jumping-on point for the show (I started with Innocence), but I just love it so much.

I can't order all the seasons very well. The list below is a tentative attempt, and many of them could swap places (particularly 3/5, or any reordering of 4/6/1):

Season 3, though its a tough pick between 2 and 3 for me. I can't believe season 5 is right behind it, it's my most hated season. oh well, i guess im in the minority there.

I love all of them, but season 2 will always have special place in my heart.

Bangel, Biginning of Xander and Cordy, best jokes, Beginning of Willow and Oz, Best episodes, Bad Ass Spike, Crazy Dru, what's there not to like, plus for me, best season finale 😀

My list is 2,3,1,4,5,7,6.

Yep, I just rewatched S2 and I almost forgot just how great it is. So many wonderful moments and one of the first evlotions of Buffy. She got a better look but also grew up a little more. I guess love and heartbreak can do that to a person....Plus we had Dru and Spike...and of course Bangel. 🙂 Spike fought next to Buffy for the first time, even if it was for his own personal gain. I forgot how long Cordelia and Xander were together! So weird. And Oz and Willow! She really wasn't a lesbian back then! ha ha

Season 6 is just a consitantly good season. The character development is wonderful, the story is moving, there's Spuffy and Dark Willow... all the best parts!
