No, no, you might damage the truck with a flamethrower! I was thinking of more subtle tactics: kicking, glaring, threatening under your breath. I feel you could excel at this!

We have mods? I've seen spikenbuffy pop in occasionally, and the boss checks in every day or two, but I think everyone else is lying face down in a pub.

did you mean mods as in mods and rockers?
Plus
Anyanka glaring at you whilst using threatening words under her breath will have so much more impetus if she is pointing a working flamethrower at
you, as opposed to a non working flamethrower.
Mind you and this is for dear Anyanka only,

the flamethrower has no pointy bits (good or bad)

All you need to do to win is make everyone else not be able to compete. And things that are unpleasant for humans but not harmful will keep the vehicle intact.
