After sharing a lingering kiss with would-be Slayer Kennedy, Willow bafflingly transforms into Warren! Meanwhile, The Scoobie Gang is shattered when they discover clues that lead them to believe that Giles may be The First.

could either be a really good or a really horrible epp. let's see how they explain the missing chloe deal. maybe she gets killed on the way back? Don't answer that with any spoilers please.. i'm just speculating.

Willow turns INTO Warren? what the.... weird! And yeah, the Kennedy/Willow thing was SO obvious. Though... Kennedy is supposed to be what? 15? no way. she LOOKS and ACTS a lot older.

And I guess our theory about Giles being the first may possibly be justified. Honestly though... every morning, everytime I saw someone, even my best friend or sister, I'd touch them and make sure they weren't the First.
 
I tend to suspect these plot summaries of being as misleading as possible. (Previews, too.)

But I'm intrigued with the idea of Willow turning into WARREN(???). Does it have something to do with the fact that she killed him?

And I really would like the rumors of Giles being the FE to be settled one way or another. (Yes, and what about Chloe? And the SIT from China -- do we get to meet her or was she just a fictional excuse for Giles to not be around for an episode?)
 
Actually Kennedy said she thought she was too old for the slayer gig, so by my estimates, she is about 17/18 and willow is 21 which really isn't a huge age difference.

Yes, and its different from the whole
Connor/Cordelia thing. Atleast Willow wasn't at one time, a mother figure for Kennedy.
 
Oh my god, Kennedy might be 17? Aye yai yai, Willow better go easy, or at least check the statutory rape laws on Sunnydale's books. I thought she was in her twenties, but everyone on UPN and the WB all look the same age to me. The only exception to that is Dawn, who, with her chubby cheeks and frail frame, looks like she came skipping out of the nearest junior high.
 
Willow is transforming into dead people now? Hey, maybe she'll end up taking over the First's job description. Anyone read the Incarnations of Immortality by Piers Anthony? 🙂
 
so, willow's gonna be Warren. This shall be the true test of Adam's acting skills. If he can play willow successfully, I will forever be impressed. This should be a pretty interesting ep. I'm looking forward to it.... and Giles being the First??? how is that possible??? hasn't someone touched him since he got back?? Surely someone has. I really don't want him to be evil. Giles is great, he needs to stay good forever!!! and also take over the watcher's counsil since they're pretty much all dead!

We dont know their actually dead 😉 We just saw the place blow up we dont know if they were still in it or not. We are only assuming they were, of course since thats the obvious but this season nothing is the obvious 😛
 
Whoa, I just saw the trailer on www.buffyworld.com... that is so weird. i know upn sucks at making trailers that actually are about what happens in the epp, but what are they going to do? do a pastiche on Seeing Red? weird. looks really good though. KENNEDY please don't die!

Joss himself said in an interview that they were all dead....he apoligized for any confusion that the explosion may have caused...the watchers council building did blow up & everyone in it died......

Maybe we shouldn't talk about outside interviews and how they relate to the end of the series on non-spoiler threads. My heart kind of sank when I read this piece of information, because I was half expecting them to be alive. Best to keep it a surprise for the rest of us, no? Oh well, no biggie.
 
I don't think that was a spoiler...you would have been waiting for a resolution that was never coming. Joss just thought he had made the situation clear within the episode; he meant for everyone to know that the council had been eliminated. If it had been a spoiler, Joss Whedon is the last person on earth who would have given it away. 🙄
 
Didn't Giles (assuming he's not the FE) *say* the Watcher's Council was no more when he turned up on Buffy's doorstep with with the first three SITs? Or was it just implied?
 
OHHH MY WORD!! I just saw the tralier for tomorrow's eppy. I can't wait to see it!! I hope they didn't take the best parts of the episode for the tralier, like they ususally do! I'm so looking forward to the kiss.

Edited to say: I am so so bad! I couldn't wait until tomorrow, not knowing if Kennedy would die was getting to me. I actually read the spoliers. 🙁 I am so mad at myself.
 
i know what you mean theOracle, i saw the preview last week after "Potential", i was so giddy, they literally had sparks and everything. 🙂
