Angel (David Boreanaz) goes on a mission to find proof that his son Connor (Vincent Kartheiser) wasn't simply a vessel designed to bring the evil Jasmine (guest star Gina Torres), who is hell-bent on destroying everyone, into the world. Meanwhile, Connor goes in search of the missing Cordelia (Charisma Carpenter).

I haven't been watching Angel much recently, I have been really busy but I wasn't a big fan of last weeks episode either.

Angel was cruising along 'til Jasmine turned up, now it's hit the mud and slowed right down. They need to do something strong this episode to get enough steam for this season to end well. I don't know how they are gonna stop Jasmine, but it'll probably be some kind of convenient spell, instead of a big explosive battle unfortunately. I guess they decided they've had enough big fights this season...

It is on next Thursday at 9pm after Buffy (Favourite Male Episode)

I know a lot happened here but I didn't really click with this ep. Perhaps it's because I just don't like Jasmine. I did really like the little high priest demon guy tho'.

Can't seem to get interested in Connor at all - he just seems to be a spoiled brat all the time and I can't be doing with that. Stop whining and get on with it boy! Your father spent time in hell as well and you don't hear him complain 😉

Looking forward to seeing what Lilah is up to and how she managed to get back. I heard that it's because W&H contracts are really hard to break - they won't even take death as an excuse. Sounds just like my boss when I want to take sickie 🙂

I dont know about Connor so much, this was the first episode where I actually felt sorry for him... the bit where he's telling coma Cordy that he isnt like them, he isnt about fighting (yeah right) and that even when Jasmine brought peace to everyone else, she still couldnt help *him*.

Now I'm just pissed that they didnt do this earlier in the season, it would have been much more exciting/dilemma-ie if I actually identified with Connor instead of thinking 'he needs a good slap' all throughout the eps.

Oh well, better late than never I suppose 🙂

I really enjoyed this episode, I think it has set things up nicely for a decent finale to what has been (imo) a bad season. Im looking forward to next weeks episode now.

Great ending! I love Lilah and was very disappointed when she died earlier in the season. When she first spoke I thought it was Jasmine making a predictable return so I was suitably shocked when the voice belonged to Lilah.

I shouldnt have been surprised as Stephanie Romanov was in the guest cast list. I cant wait to see how and why she is back and what Wolfram and Hart want. From past experience it cant be good
