, i doubt that happens but i heard it somewhere. you hear so many spoilers half of them are false, I think what it is with Spike's chip is that he finds out that he can

hit Buffy (not that he'd want to) and not get a shock from the chip because when Buffy came back, she came back wrong

Maybe Buffy isn't entirely human anymore - hence Spike has no pain when he hits her - this is just my assumption, not fact as far as I know.🙂
