OH CANADA!

[Seeing Red]

A lot of people love different countries that happen to not be their home land. My question to you is, what are some certain things that you love that are associated with other countries that are not your home land?

For me, I happen to love Canada. (Shocker, I know! 😱)
I love hockey, maple syrup, how friendly everyone is up there, Meese (😉), and the cold.

What are some things that you guys love about other countries? 😀

I have always loved the thought of America. Everything is XL the cities, the drinks, the food and the shopping. I think I'd be in heaven. I can't wait to go as soon as I've saved up the money to do it.

I would love to go to Ireland. I have a deep love of rolling plains and open country. I'm not sure if that is really what it's like ther, but it's what I've seen in pictures and whatnot, and it sounds beautiful. Also, all of my family is Irish.

Brecon Beacons isn't that where it gets really cold? I'm going to Dublin at Xmas hopefully 🙂 where abouts in Ireland would you visit val?

I happen to love England because I just love everyone's accents! 😀 I want to go there so badly so I can try out my own British accent and see if they can tell I'm not British. 😛

I was going to say something that's become a saying/motto of mine recently is "sometimes I feel like a British person who was mistakenly born in America." I love British people, and culture, and oh goodness the slang. British English is so much nicer than American English. I love it. I speak in British English quite a bit. It confuses people. But I don't care... it's a prettier application of English than American English.

I love Scotland. I've been a couple times and I live in the North (proper way up North!) of England so I feel kinda close to it already. I just love the place. I love the accents, I love the scenery. If I had my way I'd live in the middle of nowhere right up in Scotland!

I did a video challenge with someone on Youtube once, where we traded slang words from our countries and tried to figure each others out without googling them. It was funny, but if you're into British slang you should try something like that or one of those Brit word memes or something 😀 It's a load of fun!

Well I've not seen that, but I guess so? I'm gonna have to look for this. Anyway I love trading accents and slang with people. It's made for some very hilarious Skype conversations/tumblr posts with Americans 😛

I like Wales. I only live half an hour away from Wales so I have fond memories of going camping there and going to gigs/rugby in Cardiff. Welsh oggies are nice too!

I love Iceland as well. The people seem lovely, the mythology seems interesting and the fact that a lot of people are happily atheist/secular without causing much fuss is good too. I also love their music as I listen to a lot of bands from Iceland.

I'm definitely going to try and go to Iceland at least once.

I'd really love to visit England, Wales, Ireland, or Scotland, I dunno if I could pick between the four! Oh, and a part of me wants to visit Sicily one day since that's where my grandparents are from. But I'd must rather visit the aforementioned places first. I'd like to be called a Yank! Do ya'll still call Americans that sometimes? I suppose that's a bit stereotypical...

I also love Canada, but I've visited there before. Well, it was only for a few hours, and one tiny island, and there are a ton more places to see obviously! Perhaps Vancouver or Thunder Bay where my grandma was born. I could go to a few hockey games too! Man, it's been years since I've been to a hockey game!! I'm dyin here!

This is still part of England, but the Isle of Wight has a special place in my heart. It's a stunningly beautiful island with areas that time has forgotten. I go over there several times a year and it's just such a lovely, peaceful place.

I love Canada 😀 it's the only country on my list of places I want to go...that I've crossed off. I feel like America doesn't have a lot of culture. I mean, we have a blend of other cultures, especially in California, so I love that. I just love culture. I love to learn about other cultures, I like to pick the brains of people who aren't from this country, there are so many languages that I want to learn haha. Growing up I've always had tons of friends from different cultural backgrounds, and I feel like that's why I feel the urge to travel to so many freaking places. I'm tired of hearing about their awesome family vacations! I wanna go!!! Okay, I'll calm down. Here's my list 😉
