Oh no! A thread on politics

So, who's going to vote on Thursday? And if not, why not? Do the party leaders turn you off, are they simply not in tune with your view of how the country should be run? Or are you, like me, completely cynical about the political process post Iraq and Mr Bliar's seemingly illegal method of persuading Parliament to vote for the war.

i dont vote. but not for the reasons in the poll so i cant answer that. i just dont vote. never do, probably never will.

I would vote, but not being a british citizen I can't vote. But I was flipping through some of the pamphlets from the different parties and mp people. Some of it is just grgh argh, but then again it's not like a should be surprised we've got the same jerks back home trying to sell the genuine Swedish feeling. "We say what you think" crap.

It's people like that, that make it even more important to vote.

I will vote. Not that there are any particular parties that I want to vote for but because of my gender. My Grandma always says that people suffered so that I could have the chance to vote. So... I'll vote.

I may change my mind by Thursday but as of right this minute i'm not likely to be voting. As much as i don't like Blair or believe that the Labour Party have the slightest clue what it takes to run the country, the simple fact is that i don't think the Conservatives, the Lib Dems or any of the others do either.

I may vote for one of the main three however, simply to try help prevent any of the parties with a, how shall i put it, slightly more racist view, or the likes of UKIP whose ideas border on xenaphobia and isolationism, coming into any serious power. As much as i don't rate the big three parties at the very least they are a better choice than those others.

Personally i'm looking forward to the inevitable day when the UK becomes the next official state of America. It's gonna happen, trust me! 😉

I'm deeply convinced that everyone who can should vote cause it's your duty! Even if you vote blank, you have to go.. so many people died to get this right & so many people would have to have this right so not voting it's like wanting to go back to totalitarism in my opinion...

Plus when you don't vote you can't complain... & we always like to complain about our government right? So let's go to vote so that we can criticize them after : punch:
