i joined earlier tonight and have had a little look around, looking for someone to adopt me as i have never used any forums/boards before so ye only just found out how to post a thread today n dont no how to do much else so a little help may be needed

Ok, the easiest way is to click on someone's name. A list will drop down with various options, one of which is 'send user a private message' which is the PM option you're looking for.
