Consider me formerly bitten, and now I'm climbing out of the cold, hard earth to get me some more B&A!
I joined these forums quite a while ago, but drifted away.
I watched Buffy and Angel when they first screened on TV many years ago, and have since purchased both box sets and watched them several times each. I'd say I'm a pretty dedicated fan, but not one who will ever walk the plank of fanfiction/art. (Not that there's anything wrong with that) 😛
I'm about due to watch both series again (as I do once every year) and I look forward to discussing them with the members here as I do so, this time around.
I never posted much the first time around, so I don't expect anyone to know me but it should be good getting into some in-depth discussion on the Buffy-verse.
Part of my reason for wanting to discuss the episodes here is the Geekshow Buffy and Angel podcasts. While I won't say I hate them, the seem to be fairly ignorant to a lot of the more subtle elements of the Buffy-verse, and seem more content in stating the obvious and explaining why certain jokes are good and certain episodes are bad. I know there are a few other podcasts that discuss Buffy better, but they never make it very far. 🙁
So, I will start the saga anew, and I eagerly await some great conversations with you guys. 🙂
