I was eight when we got our first computer, I was ten when we first got internet. I've had internet in my home for only 12 years... I wouldn't go back to not having it. I mean, technically, I don't have it at home, but I have a cell phone that has internet everywhere I go, so I'm always able to access anything I want. It's an amazing feat of connection. I can talk to people from all across the world with the click of a button. I can talk to my friend from Germany, and one from England in the same program. It's a great way to stay in touch. My brothers (as I've said many times before in different threads) live 2200 miles west of me. I can keep in touch with them really well. The internet, I believe, is our time's greatest invention. It's rivaled in previous times only by electricity. I wouldn't give it up for anything!
