Since the directors of the MCU have announced that the cameos made by the late Stan Lee are finished with "Endgame," it just occurred to me that something similar could be done with "Old Steve Rogers." I know that Chris Evans has said that he no longer wants to go through the strict diet and exercise program necessary to play Captain America, and he also wants to pursue his directing career, but some cameos would be a good way to keep the character alive for the audience as well as maintaining the recurring cameo feature of the franchise. What do you think of the idea?

I like the idea of him doing some cheesy public access TV commercials similar to the video we saw in Spiderman: Homecoming.
Maybe also accompanying ad campaigns for wholesome things like drinking milk, getting enough fruit, registering to vote, outdoor activities and the like.

Just seeing a poster with him in the background saying things like 'time to get on your bike!' and 'your country needs you strong, eat beets!' or something.

I think it be nice to do something like that . I thinking more like spots to get people to join the armed forces since he was in the military .
Maybe show how he was before he became Captain American & why they picked him over other people .

I wouldn't want to see anything from him ever again. He was the greatest villain of them all. His actions, or rather inactions, were despicable. He was no hero.

Huh ? Where did yiou get that idea from Spanky .

Please give us more details on wehy you think that .

He let the events of the past transpire the way they originally did. That's pretty horrific to me. Look at all the good he could have done knowing the future as he did. Yet he opted to do nothing instead.

How do you know he would have done good by changing it ? It could have been worse then the first time .

Didn't you hear The Ancient One's explanation about that? When you travel to the past, you can't change what is then the future, because it has already been done. Any change crates an alternate time line. Going back and marrying Peggy crated an alternate time line where, for all we know, Steve actually was able to do exactly that. Create a whole new universe. The thing is, the first historic event that he changed would create a butterfly effect that would change everything from that point forward. In other words, he could change one single event, and that one change would change everything that would happen afterward.

There was, incidentally. a post World War 2 Captain America series, but it obviously conflicted with te current Marvel story line, where Captain America crashed a plane into the Arctic Ocen and was frozen until modern times, so Marvel went back and retrofitted it so that the post war character was actually a double of "our" Captain America. Maybe that's where Steve actually went, that was his alternate time line, and he became that Captain America. Decades later, once Peggy died, he would have had to simply travel from that reality back to his original time line and give Sam his shield, then either return to the reality that he had created, or stay on and become a mentor for future Avengers, or, better yet, travel between the various alternate realities, recruiting the X Men, Fantastic Four, and whatever other new Marvel characters will be introduced in the future.

Or he could even travel over to the DCEU and help the Justice League improve their own universe.

I just think it's BS because the director, writers and marvel head honcho all say that something different happened.
