I was wondering if anyone knows what's going on with the older Buffy books that (up until a few days ago at least) were available in kindle format. Today I tried to check one out of the library (which I was able to do) but when I went to get it for my Kindle I got a notice stating "Sorry, this book is not currently available. Please return to your library to see if you can check out the book in a different format. " I then proceeded to try to attempt to checkout another book and got the same message. Finally I tried to do a search for Buffy books in kindle format and none of the older books seem to be there anymore. The books I've purchased in kindle format are still available on the devices I've downloaded them too, but it would still be really disappointing if they aren't available in that format anymore.

Which books? Might be a territory issue - they may no longer be available in some areas - or because licensing has changed.

Yeah, they disappeared here too along with a bunch of other titles, from what I’ve seen written about it, it seems to have to do with the publishers Simon & Shuster being in the process of being shut down by the parent company Paramount Global. If that is the case they will hopefully sell their catalogue or something.
