OMWF choreographer in article; Buffy mentioned

[This Year's Girl]

In the February 2004 issue of Premiere magazine, Adam Shankman is featured in their "Players" department. Adam is an actor/dancer/choreographer/director; he directed movies such as Bringing Down the House, The Wedding Planner, and A Walk to Remember. Buffy fans, however, might recognize his name because he was the choreographer for "Once More, With Feeling." Here's an excerpt from the article (written by Josh Rottenberg), where he mentions Sarah Michelle Gellar and Buffy:

In 2000, he met Sarah Michelle Gellar for drinks at a Santa Monica hotel to discuss The Wedding Planner. The two wound up getting drunk and talking long into the night, bonding, says Gellar, over "everything from movies to fashion to boys to anything you could think of." When Gellar became engaged to Freddie Prinze Jr., they asked Shankman to perform the wedding ceremony. "My secret to throwing a good party is Adam Shankman," she says. Shankman's assistant went on the Internet and had him ordained for $20. Soon after, when Buffy the Vampire Slayer needed a choreographer for an all-song-and-dance episode, Gellar helped Shankman get the job.
