On a scale of 1 to 10 - How Buffy obsessed are you?

I voted 9. I will probably be watching the show for the rest of my life. I check this site multiple times a day now. I'm not at 10 because I'm not a crazy fanatic who loves to collect everything possible related to the show (not that I think anything is wrong with that!) But yes I would say that I'm slightly obsessed with the show 😀

It used to be 10, but it's been 8 years. I don't watch it as much anymore, almost never actually, I don't really think or talk about it. but I still love the show, and I read the comics so I'd put myself as a 7 right now.

You know, I used to think I was pretty bad until I signed up here. It opened up a whole new world! I didn't know there were comics and action figures and props and all that that you could buy. I had never heard of fan art or any of that. So, I would say I am not too bad, but BB made me worse. 😉 (Or...better??)

Back when I was younger I would say I was a 10, talking non-stop about it with my friends at school and actually had Buffy slumber parties. Me & my Friend would stay up all night marathoning it and we'd have these script books we read out of and actually played out Buffy with us playing the roles. I use to be WAY obsessed. I have toned down a bit as I grew up. I am still and will forever be a loyal fan and support my Buffster but I don't get all freaky like I did when I was younger. I will though turn my children into Buffsters, oh yea 🙂

Not because I'm a rabid fan who foams at the mouth at the site of sharp wooden objects, but mostly because Buffy has been my biggest influence. I started watching about 8 years ago, when I was 9, and I completely believe that it is because of Buffy that I am who I am. It's a part of my life; it's vital, integral. I don't watch the show every day but I don't really feel it's necessary anymore. The characters, the lessons, the stories...they're all a part of me. I carry them with me wherever I am.

This poll, for me, is like asking how important my left leg is to me. 😛 So yeah, 10.

I put 9 because there are definitely some people who are more dedicated than I, but for my purposes Buffy is the end-all. I can go a few weeks without watching an episode but I used to not be able to go a day or fall asleep without watching it. I have inside jokes with myself that I laugh about when people say something they don't realize is buffy-ish or I quote the show and laugh - and get cocked heads and strange looks but.. I don't care! I love this show! I say it out loud! I want everyone to know. The worst part of being unemployed isn't not having new clothes or fuel or food - it was having to sell my DVDs to pay for dinner. Thank goodness for Netflix! Though I have episodes on VHS I taped off the tv just in case. Soooo, Buffy obsessed? A little.

If we are talking about actually watching the show I'm probably a 3 or 4. If we are talking interacting in a fannish capacity, then I'd say I'm more of a 7. The fandom side of the verse is kind of like my hobby, you know? Not necessarily obsessed but very active and present.

I'm a 7, but if not for these boards, I'd probably be lower. I'm currently on a rewatch, but I don't watch it every day and am certainly not as obsessed as I used to be.

Am I obsessed with Buffy? Probably not, it has been suggested that I am odd, strange even, and maybe weird at times, but I don't think I am obsessed.

I will always be a 10 no matter how much I get irritated with it or the characters I always want to re-watch.

Lets put it this way if I see Buffy or Angel dvd's in the store I already own them I go over and read everything and act like there is something new. When I see the box sets I go crazy. One time I even said I should get this it is on sale. I already have it lol.

It's always at it highest when I watch the show. Seems obvious. Now I haven't watched Buffy or Angel in a few years so at the moment it's not very high. If not for the boards I wouldn't give it much thought at all. I'm sure I'll watch the series again and then my obsession will be higher again. The books and trading cards are proof that I've been very invested in the show.

I really don't think either show is the best there is but they'll always have a place in my heart.

So all this makes me.. what? 2-8? 😉 Average at 5.
