On being the slayer

Does anyone think that all Buffy's problems stem from not being 100% the Slayer and forsaking all else--like giving up on the personal life?

Maybe Kendra had it right. There is no time for anything else?

Actually, she was a tad bit screwed up before. The only reason she hooked up with Spike in the first place was because he made her feel. the girl was depressed and wanted an excuse to hide out from her friends, so she spent time with Spike, and he made her feel. Think about the last lines of the Musical. Now she is ready to move on from Spike.
 
buffys been having problems for awhile. i think that maybe sleeping with spike just heightened them a bit more. maybe kendra was right, that there isnt really anything but the slaying but, i believe buffy can balance friends, a real life, and slaying and still get her stuff straight if she stops realying on spike to make things better and starts trusting and talking to her friends.

Yeah! Sometimes i do wonder if it would be eaisier for her to be 100% slayer or 100% normal girl.... cuz she's going through hell trying to be both.....
 
Well Kendra was 100% slayer and look how long she lasted. I think she needs other things in her life to help her stay focusedon what is really important in line: friends, family, and love.
 
It's not just that she would be boring, but she would miss out on life. Just because she is the slayer doesn't meen she's entitled to a life full of responsibility and no fun. her friends and famly keep her balanced. 🙂
 
If she had to be 100% slayer . . it would be like a curse - i think its not fair - plus, she'd go insane . . .!

She's be pretty boring, thats for sure!!! I love seeing her kick butt, but thats not the main reason why I turn in ti the show.
 
I don't even think she deserves to be the slayer at the moment. She doesn't even seem to care, shes the god damn chosen one she could try acting like it every now and again! Wheres the motivation she used to have back in the old days? She has no enthusiasm at all anymore. I think Buffy's mix of a normal life with her slayer life is good, her friends are a positive influence.
 
But to her, its not a deserving thing - she doesnt want to be the slayer, to her, she was born to be slayer, its not something she chose and counts herself lucky for.
I do belive she should regain motivation though. I think she will once she gets over her back-from-the-dead/heaven-thing!

I think that she deserves some fun,but she has been depresed because she finally was happy in heaven,and her friend in a egotistical way bring her back to slay again when she was happy and normal finally and lately she doen;t feel anything.That screwed her
 
Defintely - she has a had a hard, short and adventurous action-packed life! A life that would screw anyone up! Lol
