(I'm not really sure just where this should go, since it doesn't really fit into any of the sections here, so feel free to relocate it if need be)

(This is more or less inspired by Joss' on line "Dr Horrible" miniseries, but there are several other, longer running productions of a similar nature as well, of varying quality)

My question is, who would like to see a similar treatment with using the Buffyverse as a format, something like "Tales Of The Slayers," featuring new Slayers or Slayers from the past, maybe with an occasional cameo by one of the actual actors from the series, like Xander or Andrew (neither actor seems to be particularly busy at the moment) assuming that good actors, writers, and directors could be found to take on the project? And please note, what I am talking about here would be good quality productions, not amateurish no talent shows.

Joss did it with "Dr Horrible," there's no real reason why it couldn't be done just as easily with "Chelsea The Vampire Slayer," or some such.

I think that would be really cool. I would love to see it done, as long as it was done well, with good writing and acting.

Assuming that the right quality of writers, cast and crew could be found, I would be happy pay a small fee for each episode to ensure it kept running. Unless I was the only one paying, of course. That would be pointless 🙂

But yes, seeing as it's highly unlikely we'll ever get any other form of spin off I would really like this kind of thing to happen.

Yeah, I think there is a huge potential in the whole Vampire Slayer mythology that has more or less been neglected so far imho.

Would love some kind of show that explored the history of Vampire Slayers and their watchers.
Must be so many stories to tell, it's a shame it hasn't been done already actually.

If it's online or not doesn't matter much to me. I just want to see it happen somehow.

I think that would be pretty cool. The most important thing is that it is done right.

But a big NO to a franchise reboot. Stuff like that almost always backfires. If they do anything reboot-y, they should reboot the movie. And only with Joss as writer and director and only the way Joss wanted the original movie to be.

I've been wanting a tales of the slayers/vampires mini series for some timenow. The original cast guest appearing would br nice, but not necassary, if they have small parts.

Absolutely, I would watch that for sure. I'm a pretty big Joss fan so no matter what horse he hitches his wagon to, I'm going to give it a ride (does that metaphor work? Not sure...). I never would have seen Cabin in the Woods if I didn't know he wrote it, and I wound up loving it.

Plus, any new Buffy content, pretty much anything at all, I'm behind. Absolutely.
