Do you have a term/word or phrase that you have "invented" to use with your circle of friends and or family?

I have done a few......:Dad Man A man who is 30 and above and has broadened shoulders and hands-resembling somebody who already has his own children or is ready.....you know how that happens after mid twenties or so......

I also like my phrase Fist of Fun -this is what you do when something is really fun and/or you are really happy. Raise your fist in the air and say, Yes!
 
i have one.. i don't know how you write it: but it's sorta like bobby, just with a boo sound in the begining..(not boobie😉) it's what i call my sweetie🙂
 
Wow Chas...NOT what I thought the fist of fun was...

The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is something my husband thinks is cute. Every winter when I get really cold and my teeth start to chatter I always scream "Chilly Burger!" Cuz, you know, I'm cold...and covered in human meat...
 
I have a catchphrase I like to use alot. Not very original, but it's my thing.

Whatever happens happens- Usually a phrase I use when either I'm talking about a relationship with a girl or just talking to a girl I think is cool. My way of trying to sound like I don't worry about things, when in all honesty I'm a big worry wart.
 
lots of them... crypticness rules, and i changed them/invent new ones all the time, so no one knows what i'm babbling about

lol, My major phrase is:
Bundles of fun- the sarcastic approach. When someone does something or tells ya something that makes you think, boy, that had to be *sarcasim* lots of fun.

Bundles of laughs- opposite of B.o.F.

i used to say "hey hey what to you say,halvorsen" when i answered the phone, and my mom made me quite saying that when i tok the phone, acually she made me stop taking the phone! cos i said it in english and the ones that rang us, hung up! lol
 
I say this a lot. ummm... hi. Its used like "excuse me" in a mean way. Like if someone bumps into me, its like. Uh, hi I'm here.
 
When I call someone a 'Rhubarb' it means, I think they're stupid 😉
Or sometimes a 'Possum'
 
My friends have a thing, that like, if you agree with someone, on whatever they said, you hold out your hand and say 'Slap my Hand!' I love that, becuase I get excited rather, um, a lot, if people say something I agree strongly with, and so rather than scaring people off by jumping around and screaming, you say 'Slap my hand!'

Me and my mates all call each other names like im Cutie Pie, my other mates are called Sweetie Pie, Honey and so on...we are weird..lol
In my family I name by brother Boy...I got it of My Wife And Kids...When the dad was shouting to Jnr and he kept goin O Boy!...So my brother is now called Boy.

Sometimes I think "dude" is the only word that comes out of my mouth that is an actual viable term in the english language. I've been a cheerful destroyer of my native tounge for as long as I can remember. I've got tons of phrases. I think one of the things that made me gel with Buffy when I first saw it was their cheerful and creative abuse of language. 'Course, Joss does it much better than I do. My mangling just involves making up a lot of my own words like "slarth" and "blark"; I don't get all clever with switching adverbs into nouns and all the mind-boggling Buffy stuff. Actually, it makes me sound kinda like Sloth from The Goonies. BABY RUTH!?
 
lol...great thread..

whenever my friends and i get together...one of us will see a hot chick and just blurt out "I like Breed"....or if one of us sees the other staring at a chick...we'll go...."Todd like breed"...lol...usually say it really quickly to avoid sexual harrasment...
 
lol, "I like Breed". That sounds sorta cave manish...lol , but you are kinda into that hold sensing, sniffing thing huh?
