A couple items about this episode:
Firstly, Everybody sings because Dawn summoned some demon with a necklace? They were singing before the necklace was taken.

Secondly, what do you think would have happened if a person was stopped in the middle of their tune? Buffy cuts off Anya in the middle of her rockin' bunny rant...does the universe get torn apart?
 
Dawn wasn't the one who summoned the demon. It was Xander. I don't think that the universe will get torn apart if someone is stopped in the middle of their tune. Anya was interrupted just like you said, so was Dawn when they kidnapped her, and Buffy when she spun out of control. I think that stopping them from singing actually helps them in the way that they wont combust.

I downloaded the whole ep, even the extras, and there was a whole lot of extra singing and dancing.

There was a funny part when Xander asked if he'd have to go to the underworld as his Queen!!

Can somebody tell me what the singing demon's name was? I swear that he has one, I just can't remember it!

Yeah Sweet. The only time its mentioned is in the credit where it says "Sweets make up by"

Yea I never got it until I bought the soundtrack I think...
I love this episode, I got the soundtrack and of course i have it on dvd... I watch it all the time, I couldn't help but love when Xander asked him if he had to be his hell bride.... it would have been hilarious if Sweets had said yes lol
 
Rather than start a new thread about the same episode, I'll add to this one...

Giles appears to have been right on with his opening line of "I've got a theory" when he says "...a dancing demon..."

Hehe, I actually never took that into consideration. I guess he was right.

Besides that point, this episode was interesting, one of the things that gets me everytime is the parking ticket song, it's just so random and as being a random one myself, I absolutely adore that part.

All of the episode was awesome and I like how the writers actually tested that out and were successful, go Joss and crew!

I love that song too, have you heard the version on the soundtrack, I love the bit that get's cut off... "I'm not wearing underwear!"

It just makes me giggle.

Hehe, I didn't hear that part. I want to though! What's the song called on the soundtrack?
Xander was the reason for the Demon to show up and the world wouldn't have been torn apart if some one was stopped
 
I think they should have made that line clearer on the DVD, it was hardly too racy was it, lol. It was just funny. It did make me laugh when I heard it on the album.

i think anya cut tara off, because she paused for so long, that it seemed very clear that she was done, and then tara did start singing the next verse.

That was a part in the episode. He did ask if he was going to have to be his Queen sine Xander summoned the demon instead of Dawn.



I thought it was suprising when the demon got Buffy confess about her being yanked out from hevean and telling the scoobies she is now living in hell. Willow looked so upset.

(PS, I'm only up to this episode...although I havent seen the 2 episodes before it because Tina wanted to skip to it.)

i think that since it was longer than a normal episode, some channels dont play the whole thing, and this is one of the lines they cut out. they also cut out dawn's ballet and some other stuff, but its really a part of the episode.
 
Actually, the whole episode only aired once...during the original broadcasting. Lines were cut, along with half of "I have a theory", Dawn's Ballet, and possibly others...
