i absolutly love this song...Amber Benson has such a great voice...made all the more special by the fact that she was scared 'cause Joss had written all her lines in a high note, and that's not her usual range. she sings much lower, apparently.

...Dude. Willow and Tara's song was in NO WAY boring. It was the best on the soundtrack... next to Walk Through the Fire of course... how could it be BORING?

Nah. Amber sure can sing, and "under your spell" was sweet on the ears. But "Something to sing about" had more to say than the other songs. Musically it might not be the best, but its lyrics relate to every single person on this planet. That's a pretty awesome feat to achieve in a song.

True. Something to Sing About was also really good. I love them all anyway, so I probably shouldn't be saying which ones are best, because I'll probably change my mind within 5 minutes.

Huh? Whoever said it wasn't "the whole point"? Yes, one can look at it that way. It raises mixed emotions. The context in which it is sung is complicated, the darker side coming to the fore in the reprise she does later.

Amber Benson also hits some very high notes in her part in the "Where Do We Go From Here" ensemble, and lower ones in her duet with Anthony Stewart Head. Her voice has a lot of range, clearly.

I don't think there's anyone that's a fan of Buffy that doesn't have at least one thing that they like about "Once More, With Feeling." I'm a musical buff, and I've got to say that I enjoyed this episode a whole lot more than I thought I would. The fact that even the cast members who aren't in the slightest bit vocally trained were good was awesome, considering how disastrous musical episode attempts have been...*cough7thHeavencough*...

My favorite song, musically, would have to be "Under Your Spell" and "Standing," simply because both Amber and Anthony captured the nuances and tones necessary for the songs to be as effective as they were.

My favorite song in general is definitely "Walk Through the Fire," although I also love "Rest in Peace"...because who doesn't love a rocker-guy? 😉 The fact that it was James Marsters? Well, that just makes it ten times better. 😀

Joss' genius was definitely displayed in this episode, and it's probably in my list of top five favorite episodes ever.

I downloaded the whole ep, even the extras, and there was a whole lot of extra singing and dancing.

There was a funny part when Xander asked if he'd have to go to the underworld as his Queen!!
