Question Once more with feeling!

Love this ep- it's my favorite (ooh, need to add that to my profile, I'm a newbie). I would change absolutely nothing about it, nothing at all. Yes, Dawn is annoying, as she always is. I'll Never Tell is my least favorite song though, I tend to skip it (hiding my head in shame!). Love Willow: "I think my line is mostly filler" LOL

OMWF is an amazing episode (Not as amazing as Innocence IMO)

Didn't like Spuffy at first but the kiss was very significant to the story

And Dawn is especially annoying in Season Six

OMWF is definitely in my top 5 fave episodes.
Joss did a brilliant job directing it!
I listen to at least once song on my iPhone per day without fail!

And let me just say that the Parking Ticket is awesome 🙂

This episode is amazing 🙂 I am also proud to say I listen to it on my ipod nearly every day 😛
And yup dawn was pretty annoying in this episode especially 😛

Besides being a really great episode, OMWF was also super important to advancing S6's plot. Without it, Buffy and Spike wouldn't have happened, Willow wouldn't have gone dark so easily, and the fact that Xander/Anya weren't going to work out wouldn't have been as obvious.

My favorite songs are the long "I've Got A Theory", "Walk Through the Fire" and "Going Through the Motions" because it's so Disney-esque, and I have a soft spot for Disney movies. I'm unashamed! 😉

And, I didn't find Dawn annoying, I really liked her instrumental dance number.

I also loved I've Got A Theory(I will love Anya forever because of her outburst of bunnies lol) and Going Through the Motions, with the addition of Under Your Spell. Also, Spike was pretty awesome with Rest in Peace.

Dawn was ok in my book in this episode. Her dancing was very good.

It's funny because in Something to Sing About, Amber Benson was in an interview about the number and she said she was dancing with them and she ran face first into the pole. After that I kept looking for it but I guess they edited it =/ it would have been funny to watch, as long as she didn't start bleeding or something haha

From what I remember, if you watch carefully at one point Amber backs into a pole and you can see the brief look of shock on her face as she realizes that she's not only walked into pole, but she did it on camera

Completely agree. And the best musicals advance the story in their songs, which I think happened in almost every musical number in OMWF. That episode is still one of my favorites! 😀 But, I think Buffy and Spike still would have happened. The music just gave them that extra push 😀

Dawn is always annoying. She's my most hated character. There was never an episode she was in that I liked her in. She was always causing trouble. That's all she did.

As for Spuffy, it probably would have happened if everyone else didn't know. She already knew Spike liked her and he was the only person she could talk to. It was obvious she felt when she was with Spike whereas she was dead inside when she was with anyone else. She needed to use him for that and it was bound to happen.

I actually liked Dawn in this episode, she was great dancing in Sweet's song.

Really? I was surprised to learn Michelle Trachtenberg had ballet training because it looked so unnatural.

really? I think the opposite lol

but I do get why you think it looks unnatural.

It's the context and feeling in which she is dancing to. She's scared, and trying to get away, so her dancing is supposed to be slightly messy.

Because of this I believe she did it very well. Her emotions come out in the dance, which is ultimately what ballet(or any dance) is all about, no?

I see what you're saying... but I'm a dancer... and I feel like there's a way she could have looked scared and still fluid. It doesn't look like she dances with them. It looks like she runs around them.

One of my favourite episodes to watch just randomly
Always cheers me up when I'm a bit down =]
Shame Alyson didn't sing much though =[ (I believe it was her own choice from what I've heard?)

Yeah, I've heard that too. I think it's so sweet that everyone was asked if they wanted to sing and noone was forced to do it. I think that's the reason Dawn danced too, 'cause that's what she wanted.

That's part of the reason. At paleyfest she did say she was sick and her eyes were really red so that's why you don't see her singing much....

As for Aly, she's not that great a singer, compared to Giles, Anya, Tara, and Spike, so I guess that's why they gave her small lines

But they were forced to. I mean, from what I've heard from the countless con stuff I've seen from James Marsters... he said everyone except him and Anthony Head begged to get out of it and everyone was told no. He said Alyson was the only one to get out of it and he didn't know why. And Michelle Trachtenberg was SO terrified of singing that they let her dance. But everyone begged to get out of it, and then there was a point everyone realized they wouldn't get out of it and a lot of people got vocal trainers... Sarah got 3. They were all so depressed thinking this episode would ruin them... then they shot and edited I'll Never Tell and Joss had them all gather around a small TV on set and watch it and they knew this episode would be absolutely fantastic.

go spuffy go spuffy go!! haha i get that there are haters out there, but come on, what an ending that was!! 😛

This show has one of my all time favorite lines:

"Life's not a song,
Life isn't bliss
Life is just this,
It's living."
