Okay so in the beginning of the episode before eveyone starts singing Buffy is seen in the Magic shop and it appears that she is drawing something. Can anyone see what it is that she is drawing?😕

I always thought she was just colouring in the page, kind of as a metaphor for her depression sucking the light out of her life. Probably something else though.

yeah, I think she's coloring it all black.

She is scribbling the page with a black biro. This could suggest a spiral into depression, with black representing her previous death.

I wondered that when I just watched it, as well. I tried pausing it, but it didn't really help.

It looked sort of like a POV of someone in a grave.

I actually just asked one of my friends this as we were watching the episode, and she replied that buffy was sketching "the light at the end of the tunnel." I don't know if I agree. I think that Buffy was just scribbling black all over the page.
