This episode we're talking all about Buffy's 20th anniversary, for the most part at least, but the episode is a total 90s fest; we discuss anything and everything.

A big thank you must go to @Riderofapocalypse, @ChaseRules, @Priceless and @Geobubbles for providing their thoughts on what Buffy means to them. We loved hearing/reading your submissions 🙂

Any feedback or comments? Please let us know 🙂

Great messy podcast 😀

I agree about the horrible remasters, they should be erased from existence.

Taake has a good point, Buffy isn't really a feminist show, but it was definitely considered feminist 20 years ago.

Haha, yeah it was a bit messy wasn't it. At least we cut out the first hour where we just talked about Sweet Valley High, lol.

Definitely was, and to be clear to anyone not listening and just reading this, I don't think it not being feminist makes it in any way a bad show. It's a fantastic show, but that doesn't make it feminist, and it doesn't have to be. 🙂

I don't think it was viewed as a feminist show 20 years ago either, just because feminism wasn't the buzzword on TV it is today. 20 years ago feminists were more concerned with Planned Parenthood buildings being bombed and set afire than whether a TV show was considered feminist or not. I don't think Buffy became considered a feminist show until towards the end of it's run, if not after.

Well , that was your most 'eclectic' podcast yet 😀 . You made some great points but I was overwhelmed by the 90s trivia so I can't remember a single one just now . 😀 . Yet I can't seem to scrub Skreech's porn debut from my mind ?

I think you had another podcast worth in Athenas notes anyway . 🙂

Another great show. Quick question. What did you think i sounded like? Hillbilly Jim? The guy who did Mufasa from lion king?

Thank you for your submission, and your super kind words. 🙂

I guess in my head everyone sounds like Morgan Freeman.... 😀 But James Earl Jones would be a good shout too - his voice is also very mesmerizing and distinctive.

Eclectic is a nice way of saying it 🙂 Yeah, sorry about ruining your positive childhood memories of Screech! 😛

Maybe one day we can do a series of podcast based solely on my unused notes. 😀

Mufasa, for sure. 😀

Are you disappointed every Skype call we have that I don't sound like Morgan Freeman? 😛
