I can definitely see why Regina snapped. I probably would have done the same.
It can not be stated enough that whoever designs the Evil Queen's outfits deserves all possible awards.
The heroes on this show are so incompetent that I find myself rooting for Regina.

Were now only up to the second episode in the UK.
I love that Maleficent was in this episode. Sleeping Beauty was one of my favorite films when I was little. I also liked how they linked the two stories of the Evil Queen in Snow White using the ''sleeping potion'' from Sleeping Beauty on the apple.
I love that Emma came face to face with her real mum, it was so simply done, there was no fuss or build up, Mary Margaret just said who Henry thought she was. I dont understand why Dr Hopper set Emma up, he's meant to be one of the good guys! I love that Henry didnt buy into Regina's lie and that Emma cut down part of her apple tree.
The battle between Regina and Emma is going to be interesting. They both seem equally matched, although Regina's determination might be the turning point, anyone whose willing to rip the heart out of their own father is definately a scary opponant.
I've worked out who the Sheriff is. I cant wait for the next episode.

Sorry for the double post but I've just finished watching the third episode and I loved it! I am now an official shipper of Snow and Charming 🙂 I really enjoyed how the flashbacks played out. I'm a huge fan of Disney and love all the films especially Snow White and when your a kid you never question that Snow meets her prince and just falls in love with him straight away. Real life is different and this showed how in ''real life'' it could have happened. Plus I love how he comes about his Prince Charming name.
I also really enjoy the tension between Emma and Regina, they have such good scenes together!

With the recent confirmation that you only get one true love, I just feel awful for Regina. She had no chance for love or happiness after Daniel's death. Abusive murdering mother, passive father, dead true love, forced into a loveless marriage with a crusty old man, and forced to play wife and mother to the people she hates most... I'd flip out and go on a murderous rampage too.

So Red and Belle are now regulars. Happy about Red, but couldn't care less about Belle.
They better give Belle a personality. That is the reason I found the massive Rumbelle fanbase so annoying. The girl has zero personality at all so far and is nothing but a love interest for Rumpelstiltskin. So when I see more posts/fics about her than about Snow, Emma, or Regina I want to rage. If they don't do something with her in season 2 I can't see myself ever warming up to her.
Also, a problem we had last season was that the writers couldn't properly manage the characters they had. Archie was more irrelevant than sunscreen in a snowstorm, Regina and Gold got decidedly less screentime as soon as August showed up and failed to be intriguing or mysterious, etc.
I don't see how adding two new regulars is going to anything but decrease the amount of screentime for everyone else. The show needs to trim the fat and drop the dead weight. For example, would anyone really care if we dropped Archie and August?
